Love this version
They have taken the NASB and cleaned it up.I love this version of the Bible. I started reading Luke. The Holy Spirit was with me and the words flowed and passages I never understood made sense. Thank you Holy Spirit.I purchased it with no Bible study notes and no notes. For this particular Bible, I am enjoying the single column with wide margins. This is a red letter Bible. I expected the pages to be a little bit thicker. I didn’t know what 40 GSM meant. When I’m turning a page, the page will wrinkle. I haven’t tested it yet with highlighting to see if it will bleed through. It does come with two ribbon placeholders which I appreciate. I find the print size easiy to read. I purchased the large print.

Best Bible I’ve owned
I wish I could have afforded real leather like my older Bible but the layout and print of this Bible and ease of reading for these old eyes brings me much joy. So much better than comfort print and for me in this version of the Legacy having the red headers and numbers was much better than the straight black print in others. I had bought a large or giant print (i forget which) NKJV before this but the print just was not as easy for me to read.Very pleased with this purchase!!

This Bible is so clean cut
I am really enjoying the layout style. Red headings, red lettering for the Word of Jesus Christ, large comfortable print, large Bible size, easy to lay flat. They call God "Yahweh" in the Old Testament according to the original Hebrew which is a nice touch. There are 66 books in this Legacy standard Version. What I wish this Bible had along with what I already mentioned:- I wished it came with an apocrypha in the same style between the old and new testament (Although the Bible is already very thick)-I wish it had a reading plan or some maps at the end instead of those blank pages.Overall, I enjoy that the main focus is the scripture and that it's not overloaded with the extra stuff.I would definitly recommend. Your first thought when you open it up and lay it flat will be how neat the presentation is.

Very nice Bible
This Bible is very nice with large print to make reading easier. It is also leather bound which will hold up to usage over time. A very worthwhile purchase.

Great translation
This Bible is the best translation I have ever read. I've always liked the NASB, but always wish they used God's actual name instead of just the title of Lord. This LSB uses Yahweh, which is biblically accurate in the original Hebrew. The Greek scriptures (new testament) are also spot on. I experience more power in the language when I read it, as its as close as possible to a direct and literal translation of the original texts.

My new go-to Bible, but I have 2 issues
I understand why this translation was created. I typically use a few translations in my lesson planning and study before teaching my youth. My regular personal Bible was a Christian Standard Bible (CSB) because it was easy to read while remaining accurate as well. I know other translations are excellent, but it's what I liked. After seeing this and reading about how it came into publication, I got curious and started comparing it with what I call it's predecessor, the New American Standard Bible (NASB), before it under went some changes.I can honestly say that I love how I can read the differences of writing styles between every original writer of scripture. It feels gritty and diverse that way. I enjoy that they include Yahweh for the name of God throughout Scripture. And I love that the paper is slightly thicker than your average Bible. My 2 biggest complaints about this is the publishing company and the fact that the paper is still thin enough for my notes to bleed through the page. I would like for there to just be a publishing company that used thicker paper that didn't have bleed through with pens for note taking. My issue with the publication company is that this Bible is imitation leather and still almost $60. When I bought my CSB in genuine goatskin leather, I got it for around the same price. There is no reason for a publishing company to make the Word of God which should be easy to get into the hands of every person in the world and charge this much for it. I don't care what they do in the printing and binding process. The Word of God is important and if you have what you believe to be the most accurate translation for modern day English then you should want people to easily get a copy. I really wanted a leather one, but I'm not spending that much money on a genuine leather copy. After all of that, this has become my person go-to Bible. I encourage you to always remember that we must meditate on it day and night, hide it in our heart, and know that we do not live on bread alone.
