I bought this specifically to check temperature differences at various points inside a warehouse, including surfaces at ground level and up near the roof, which is about 25 feet high. For that job it has worked extremely well. It is genuinely point and shoot, gives a reading almost instantly, and the laser makes it easy to see exactly where you are aiming even when checking something quite a distance away. I was able to compare temperatures around the floor, walls and roof structure without having to get a ladder out every time, which made the whole job considerably easier. The readings have been consistent when I have checked the same area more than once, and the display is clear and easy to read. It also feels reasonably solid rather than like a cheap gadget that will fall apart after a few uses. Simple tool, does exactly what I bought it for, and has already saved me a fair bit of messing around. Very happy with it.

I used this to take the temperature of the walls in my room. I was trying to see how effective the insulation was. This worked well and provided quick, accurate, and easy to read measurements.

This thermometer is a great addition to any workstation. It fits nicely in the palm of the hand, shows a wide range of temperatures, and works at the click of a button. Simply point, click, and receive feedback on the electronic screen. It’s also very accurate and can be easily adjusted for Celsius or Fahrenheit. I have attached photos. I highly recommend this product to anyone in the market.

It works well and accurate to measure items with cold temperatures (AC vents, fridge inside), warm temperatures (CPU heatsink, PSU, phone chargers), and very hot (oven, toaster, fresh baked food). However, it is not accurate at all if the measured surface is shiny and reflective such as brushed aluminum and st steel.

This infrared thermometer worked great! I bought it to check and zone the temperatures on my flat top griddle, and it made a huge difference. It’s quick, easy to use, and gives accurate readings in just a second or two. I can easily see which areas are hotter or cooler, making it much easier to cook different foods at the same time. The display is easy to read, and it feels well made. If you own a flat top griddle or Blackstone, I highly recommend adding this thermometer to your grilling tools. It’s been a great purchase!

I bought this in 2019 just to be able to check hot water circulation in our hydronic overhead heating unit that circulates hot water through a coil and has a fan that then blows the hot air thru outlet vents in my multi-level condo. Remarkable. I got the idea from a plumber/air conditiong tech who always carried one of these compared to many who didn't (to my surprise) and who really had no way to accurately assess issues. Aside from helping me diagnose a bad three-way valve in my hydronic unit (after a plumber told me incorrectly that I needed an $800 coil replacement), this thing has also enabled me to check air temps at the outlet vents for our central air units (aim it just inside the edge of the vents) which is exactly what our current HVAC techs do when they do system checks, check for water flow and water temp. through a thermostat in my car (aim it at the thermostat housing outlet), check the effectiveness of solar screens (point it at the inner window frame in a solar-screened window vs non-screened window), check ceilings for uniform insulation to keep heat at bay in our desert home (scan the entire ceiling and look for variations/warm areas), etc. This thing has loads of uses. I have probably used this at least 200 times or more in the last 6 years and it has worked flawlessly. No issues except needing a 9-volt battery once or twice. This is one of the BEST diagnostic tools I have ever used. And look at that great price!!!

Fantastic thermometer that looks and performs great. I have used it many times for cooking purposes. To read water temperature and oven surface temperatures for bread making. I highly recommend this as it is fast and accurate. However to get accurate cooking temperature for meats you will still need a meat (or stab) thermometer!

Es gibt nicht viel zu sagen über die Funktionsweise des Produktes, denn diese ist denkbar einfach. Es gibt wie bei einer Pistole einen Hebel am oberen ende des Griffes und drei kleinere Knöpfe für Einstellungen (°F/°C, Laser I/O, Displaybeleuchtung I/O) unter dem Display. Das Gerät misst schnell und meistens auch zuverlässig, allerdings kann die Messung auf glänzenden Oberflächen aus der Entfernung etwas schwer werden, da die Ergebnisse verfälscht werden. Die Oberfläche des Thermometers fühlt sich erstaunlich edel an (nicht wie billiger Kunststoff sondern sie fühlt sich weich an, fast wie Silikon), liegt gut in der Hand, das Display ist gut lesbar und die Beleuchtung ideal auch wenn es Hell ist. Batterie ist dabei und für den Preis ein tolles Produkt.
