This brush is so easy to use and not only helps clean my Clarke tin whistle, but works for my Killarney brass whistle, too! it works and no worries about scratching your whistles.

A must for whistle players
I don't know why this is called a cleaning brush for Clarke whistles. It is a cleaning brush for ALL (non-low) whistles. And they do have to be cleaned, for debris builds up in the over years. Until I saw this product listed, I didn't even know that there were cleaning brushes for whistles. This one, with its nylon bristles, works wonderfully well I was wondering why my whistle was sounding so raspy. It sounds much better now, after being cleaned with this terrific product.. I'll be forever grateful to Amazon for introducing me to this essential item.

Awesome Penny Whistle Brush!
With its stiff plastic bristles and its long rubber coated wire handle, the Clarke Tinwhistle cleaning brush is the perfect tool for cleaning brass, aluminium, tin, or silver whistles. I recently bought a used brass Burke whistle that hadn't been cleaned in 15 years. It had some seriously caked-on verdigris inside the tube. After using this brush, my whistle was as clean as a...whistle!

Just the right size!
I have been having trouble finding a good cleaning brush for all of my tin whistles until I found this brush. I thought it might be too small but was exactly the right size. The bristle strength is good without being too harsh. It’s amazing how a quick brush restores the beautiful tone on my metal whistles so quickly. If you’re looking for a good brush, this one is worth the purchase.

Very important for Clarke Tinwhistle owners
Bottom line, if you treat your whistles kindly, they will return in kind. If you play often and for long amounts of time, you will definitely need to clean the whistle out. Be sure to be gentle when using the brush -- don't go jamming the brush into the whistle with wild abandonment. Be thorough. It'll be worth the effort.

Is good to have a clean instrument
It's good for most tin whistles and does a good job of getting out chunky junk. I wrap it in a rag to get dust and other small particles. If your whistle has sat on a shelf for any length of time it will probably need cleaning.
