These are wild
These are wild... put 9 of the 12 on a door and it was enough to freak me out.I am a professional voice artist. I have all the bells and whistles for home recording voice-overs. I've always been the type to work with my recording space because I've had to. Some sound engineers can do this and some can't because the results are rarely consistent enough for their finely tuned ears. That being said I've never bothered much with extensive or permanent room treatments.Interiors doors are essentially HUGE drum. They transmit sound because they're hollow and only loosely attached to the house so they're free to pick up and transmit all sorts of weird frequencies. Put your ear on one and then on the wall next to it in a closed room and you'll understand. I put 9 of these on the back side of the door as a test and WOW... these are freaky. They don't just absorb, they seem to actually deaden the door on BOTH sides somehow.I put them up "temporarily" by placing a square (6x6in ish) blue painters tape on both the back side of the panel and on the door itself and then using a 3/4in glob of hot glue. Place them a tad high and smear them down in place. They come right off. Use the good 3m blue tape on ANY surface you plan on keeping tape on for more than a few days. The $6-8 a roll stuff. The green frog tape is also excellent for long term use. It will not harm the surface underneath. I just removed some from a guitar that had been on there for 4 years! The cheaper tapes are fine for surfaces you don't care about but they'll leave a residue and or damage the surface if used more than 30 days or so.That's all I got for today... ordered another 24 to screw around with. These are somehow totally different than standard acoustic foam and I'm not sure how to explain it the effects other than once spread out they absorb a TON of the main frequencies out ears hear. I can no longer hear a standard 20in box fan on high we use to keep the dogs from barking through this treated door and I'm totally weirded out by it lol. They sound almost like a black hole.

NOT for sound-proofing! They are sound-DAMPENING!!
These tiles did what I expected them to do…DAMPEN sound (not sound proof…that’s a whole other huge process). I had a nasty, tinny echo in my new conference room at work. They got rid of it and look cool too! For reference this room is about 22’ x 14’ with 11’ ceilings. I purchased 9 packs. After about 6 packs the job was accomplished but aesthetically 9 looked better. They were a little bit of a pain to hang…after reading reviews about the 3M tape not doing so great (and being expensive as heck) I went with Gorilla spray adhesive. Spray the back of the tile well and spray the wall where you will mount the tiles in small sections of like 6 tiles at a time. The spray glue worked really well with this method. The tiles absorb the glue a lot so you might have to do 2 coats on the tile but one worked alright for me.I’ll update if they fall off the wall on any coworkers 🤣

Perfect for what I needed them for
The media could not be loaded. These worked perfectly for my gaming room. I got them for a new background for my stream, not really for sound suppression.I shaped a project foam sheet to the pattern I wanted and attached my Govee RGB rope lights, then used a double sided tape to attach the panels to the foam board. Although I didn’t get them for sound proofing, It did improve the sound quality of my room, it doesn’t had as much reverb anymore.I have only had problems with one of the panels sticking to the foam board, but after redoing the tape it’s been ok. Some of them are attached with Velcro so I can change the pattern when needed. The ones on the wall have stuck very well. I plan on buying another set in the future to make a smaller board behind my desk. Also, if you plan on putting lights behind them like I did, the white panels show the lining of the lights. So I used black and white duct tape to line the edges that had the lights behind them and eliminate the rope light shadow. And the white tape actually reflects the light better on my wall.I have already been asked by several of my viewers what panels these are and I have recommended them to everyone!

Please too look , Aesthetic. Absorb a little
It reduced bounce of my voice a little. Very pleased how it looks on the wall.No adhesion so please use 3m double sided mounting tape.

Cool, functional wall art
Doesn’t come with double sided mounting tape which was disappointing. They look really nice and were easy to install once I went out and bought the tape. I do voice recording for work so I wanted some noise cancellation from my puppy and boyfriend. I’m not sure if they’re truly soundproofing, but they do reduce/absorb some noise.

White isn’t white
Easy to peel and apply. Even peeloff and restick. Didn’t pull the paint off either.I’m knocking off 1.5 stars because “white” isn’t “white”; it’s closer to a silver or light gray. Since these won’t be visible all the time (behind a barn door) I opted not to return them.Knocking another .5 star off because I ordered 2 sets and one set got bounced around in shipping and a few corners were slight damaged. In all, so far so good. Slightly bummed about the color but oh well.

Cancels noise, but you have to find your own double sided tape.
Cancels noise, but you have to find your own double sided tape.I used a "normal" 3M double sided tape, and panels started falling off within 12 hours. Just bought 3M command strips, which I hope will work better.

Great aesthetic! Ok sound absorption
First impression was they were a bit smaller and thinner than I imagined, that's more on me, but just a heads up!Give their thickness they will absorb primarily mid to high end frequencies. They won't replace the job of real panel in a professional setting, but if the goal is to reduce some reverb in a room and look nice- they are great! Or use them along side some real panels (like ATS) like me and it's a nice compliment to a room full of bland panels.I used some gorilla hot glue to adhere them to wood and they hold nicely. Shallow spike mounts would work well too. Not sure adhesive or strips plus drywall would work long term with these imoReally love the look and feel they add to a room in the end!
