Crochet Magical Creatures: 20 Easy Amigurumi Patterns

I’ve only been crocheting for a few weeks and this book was really clear, helpful, and has easy to follow patterns. Everyone has loved what I’ve made so far and I can’t wait to get through all of the patterns. I highly recommend this for cute and achievable amigurumi!

My wife is experienced at crochet and was helpful at times. This book is still good for beginners and these animals are a lot of fun. Spent the summer learning to crochet, had bought this book for our 9yo daughter, she is still working on her first. The patterns gets you pretty close to the ones pictured in the book I would say. Definitely will continue making a few more. Would recommend.

Great for beginners. Easy to follow

This book is really cute. Has some really cute critters in it but and it’s very easy to read but I wasn’t real happy with the critters that was in it. I think it’s just a matter of taste.

The media could not be loaded.  I cannot even express how excited I am about this book… it has so many adorable patterns that appear so easy. I am new to crochet and have only completed a couple of simple projects and I feel 100% confident in starting any one of these projects.If you have already crocheted, then you are probably familiar with the basic stitches which is all these adorable amigurumi creatures are made of. Nothing fancy at all! It also goes over all the stitches and has great detail and pictures. It is very informative and goes over things like finishing the best hook, making sample swatches etc. If you are an experienced crocheter then these would be great easy projects.I absolutely would recommend anyone looking for adorable crochet projects to get this book!

My niece wanted to try Crochet, specifically animals. I thought this would be a good starting point.The designs are soooo cute. So many great ones. But she has had a really hard time deciphering some of the instructions. I don't know if it's her lack of skill or the actual instructions but she's gone to YouTube for tutorials a few times. I am hoping they will get easier with practice.I would still recommend buying the book because I do think it is a great starting point! And there really is a design for everyone!

This book is fantastic especially for the price. It has thorough and well explained patterns making it easy for a newbie like myself to follow. The patterns are versatile too and I like that I can mix and match horns and antlers and such. This book is the absolute best!

I love these little amigurumis. Well explained and thoughtfully named which I think is adorable. Don't think it matters about keeping the same yarn weight and hook to the pattern specifications though. I did fine with smaller yarn and hook. Different colours work too. So many wonderful options. I'm a happy camper anywho.
