Verty Strange Backlight Problem that iPazz Support Quickly Helped With
I had very strange problems with this item and I do not think iPazz is to blame (looking at you Amazon or someone with access during the shipping process). It arrived quickly and I charged the battery and started using it. It looked great and everything appeared to work fine. Then I started using the backlights. Whenever I would turn on the backlight to blue it rapidly started to open browser windows and my Malware Bytes firewall alarms would go off (only the blue backlight setting). After speaking with a friend who ordered the same item for his RetroPi I realized that it had not arrived in the factory sealed clam shell, but a small nondescript cardboard box with the instructions and battery already installed. I wonder if this thing was actually an Amazon return or something else. iPazz has already offered to replace it and are sending a new one.

Replacement Received; works great! Please Read Update --It broke within a month.
Update: I responded back to the company, they immediately sent out a replacement. Replacement works great. Very happy with this small keyboard. Very compact and easy to carry around. If there are any future issues I will update, but I feel confident the first keyboard was a fluke.I am leaving the original review because I am VERY impressed with this company. They noticed my review and took action. They stand behind their products; Very happy with this purchase!!After this review went up the company emailed with an offer to replace this item immediately. I did not see the email until now because of having difficulties with that particular email address. Therefore I have not taken them up on their offer but DO want it noted the company wants to correct this situation and replace the item. Thank you!Dropped it once and it broke. I liked using it but only had it for a month. Not worth buying.

Awesome mini keyboard
I really love this little baby keyboard. I have my laptop hooked up to my 40" HDTV. I more or less use it as my monitor. When I'm watching movies or TV shows I'm usually laying back in my bed. The Ipazzport keyboard let's me type and use the mouse function without having to get out of bed each time I wanna make a new selection. Also if I'm checking my Facebook page I can make comments with the Ipazzport. Same if I need to do a web search. The charge lasts a good long time too. The backlit feature is nice when you need to see the keyboard in the dark. Also you can control the volume, pause, play, stop videos. It's a great little keyboard.

It is mini
I was hoping this would have been just a little bit bigger. It's pretty much the size of my phone. If you got big fingers and have trouble texting with a cell phone, this could be just as frustrating for you. For me it's workable, so I'm not going to ding it for that.I always use this while it's plugged in, so not sure how long the battery lasts yet. It comes with it's own rechargeable battery. It's not universal AAA or AA batteries. It's like those old removable cell phone batteries which is a bummer if it decided to die on you, you can't just put in new ones. The keyboard has 3 different color modes. Red, green, or blue. All 3 light up nicely. Gotta hold FN button and press F2 until you get the color you want or to turn it off again. The USB dongle comes snuggly tucked in the battery compartment.I use this with an Android TV Box. It plugged and played. All in all I'm pleased with this item. My only real gripe with this is the touch pad. The touch pad is horrendous for me. Not sure if I got a dud, but sometimes it moves the cursor. Sometimes the cursor skips all over the place, and other times it doesn't move at all. Other than that everything else is fine with me.

Poor haptics
I'll pass on the iPazz. Poor haptics when you're trying to use the mouse it's like raking leaves cursor schooches some, or never moves and yes I've tried adjusting the DPI. Button presses register 7/10 of the time. It's not a one-handed device for me because the home buttons on the left side and everything I want to controls on the right. I found out that the backlight it's just a gimmick to me. I've never owned a backlight device but now I would prefer not to have them I turned it off. I went shopping for another one of these knock-off controllers I'll be looking pazz this brand.

This is all you need to know.
We ended up buying 3 of these, one for everyone. It is great to set your laptop up and you can keep your hands under the covers or where ever you are comfortable and just type away. The size is about as small as it can be and still be able to type comfortably on it. The built in battery last a long time and the product is very nicely made. You DO have to charge it for a couple of minutes before using it. I just charged mine over night with a regular charging cord, an android phone charger. I have used mine for 2 weeks and it hasn't gone dead yet. It has a place inside to keep the USB dongle. It turns off and on. The colored lights are perfect for night or during a movie so you don't need an overhead light. My son uses his for his Raspberry Pi as well. Very thin, portable, durable and versatile.

Does not work unless plugged in!
I only started using this remote a few days after I got it. When I first turned it on it didn't work and I assumed the battery was dead because I hadn't yet used it. When I plugged it in, it worked with no issues. I pressed fn+ f2 and got the backlight no problems. It charged for over 5 hours and when I turned it on it didn't work. I realized that it doesn't work unless it is plugged in which means that the battery doesn't hold a charge. I even charged it with the provided wire and for a longer period of time and still the same thing. Needless to say I requested a refund from amazon and will be retuning the product.

Junk!!! Buy a Rii for a couple $$ more.
I have two Rii mini keyboards i use all the time. They work great. I got a 3rd computer and wanted a mini keyboard for it that looked different from the Rii so i could easily tell them apart. Big mistake. This keyboard is not as nice to use but it does work OK when its charged. The problem is when its battery gets low its starts going crazy. Doing all kinds of random crap. I cant have this as i'm sure most people cant. Also the battery lasts maybe 2 days before it go's crazy. With the Rii i get about a week before needing a charge.

Stopped working in 30 days.
Stopped working after 30 days 1st wouldn't charge and had to be plugged in to operate and then a couple of days later stopped working when plugged in. Left me stranded without a remote for my Android box for the evening so not very happy. Before failure it was pretty much as expected. The touchpad was a little slow (multiple strokes to cover the TV screen) but there is probably a setting in Android for this that I never got around to finding. Keyboard keys are in a square grid instead of with lateral offsets so difficult to type on without looking at the keys - but still waaay better than onscreen keyboard.Turning on the backlight was a bit hard to do in the dark (Fn and F2 keys together for one colour for example) but not impossible once you learned where they were by feel. Too bad they are both on the left side as they need both hands so a bit awkward reach. In the end I'm not replacing it with a similar model - some deeper reading suggests that an air mouse is usually a better choice over a trackpad (your preferences may vary of course) so I've got an MX3 style on order and will post a review once I've used it for a few weeks.

This thing is great
I use it in conjunction with my Raspi 3. Works great and once you get used to it you can actually type fairly fast/fluently, but I don't know if I'm ready to sit down and do some programming with it just yet.Only thing I'd say is it's not immediately obvious how to change the colour or even turn on the backlight? I've had this product for a couple months now and still have NO idea. I accept it's entirely possible I'm just an idiot overlooking something obvious. aside from that though, love this input device!Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a mouse/keyboard 2-in-1 combo, especially for smaller machines like HTPCs or Raspis

Great tool, just needs a better battery
We have been using this for awhile now and we do really like it. Easy to use, lovely backlight colours, easy setup ... the only problem is that the charge does not last long so we have to charge it every day or two.Pros:- easy to set up- easy to use- works flawlessly - no wrong clicks or button presses- easy to chargeCon:- battery life is terrible - I expect more for something I'm using essentially as a remote
