Academy Magic: The Complete Series: The Coven

There are some books out there that you read once and never again. And then there are books; stories, that you read over and over and over again.Chantelle Lavaun’s books both “The Coven:Acandemt Magic” and “The Coven: Elemental Magic” are two such books - or groups of books that solidly belong in the later.I first read “The Coven:Elemental Magic” only a year and a half ago at the insistence of my sister. And, to put it bluntly, I fell in love. The universe, characters and story line of this set of books were absolutely captivating and I couldn’t wait to read the next set - “The Coven Academy Magic” .I first borrowed the books via y Unlimited, then purchased them via Kindle before finally buying the physical copy. And then purchased again to gift to a dear friend who also enjoys a good book.The characters are believable - human and ordinary like you and me for the most part. The world is exciting — scenes from various states in the USA and areas of France and England that are well described, realistic and yet fantasy all at the same time. The plot line incorporates real live, timed events yet puts a complete fantasy-based spin on them so that they exist somewhere between the world of believable reality and other-worldly fantasy which is whilst believable because of the blend of the two. The characters could be me or you regardless of our education, life stories, colour, creed or persuasion. Completely believable blend of fantasy, adventure and romance all wrapped into one.In a year and a half, I have read these books over and over again and they have found their way into my heart. - David Eddings “The Belgariad”, Anne McCaffrey, and even Tolkien — make way, for this author for she is every bit as good.

Good followup read from series one with all the same characters involved. Good storyline and character development. Although the story is told from multiple POVs it's mainly told from Bettinas POV. I didn't enjoy the very long will they or won't they situation but overall a good story and finale. Recommended

Extremely well written novels, immaginative but not predictable like some stories. Will be following this author for sure. Great stuff

Thid seties swallowed me whole for a few weeks. Loved the story and characters. Though I suspected there was a previous seties for Tennegan, by thr time they came into the picture it was too late for me to abandon this story and start at tye begining. I wish I knew...

I didn't think it could get any better than the first series, but this one blew me away.The adventure aspect was off the scales, I cried more reading these books than I have in years.This series is so beautifully written, the characters... wow, I don't know how to put into words how incredible this authors creativity is.Thank you again Chandelle Lavaun for another amazing series.

This series was an amazing follow up to the first coven series. Once again, I could not put it down and loved every single part of the story and all the plot twists. Looking forward to seeing what’s next for the coven.

Glad to have another amazing series with characters I adored from the first set of series. Great novels overall! I was secretly hoping that Bettina wouldn't get left out, and I'm glad she didn't.

I was having a hard time getting into/crabbed by new books for half a year.But.... then I found these and I found myself wanting to read again. :)Why? Because I like the story and wanted to know how it would all turn out.It is not very well written to be very honest. "She/he fisted his shirt/her hair" and "Tennessee cursed" are frases you will read a lot lolBut again, the story is very captivating. And I've bought all the other books as well.

Everything about the Coven is perfection, we saw it with Tenn and Tegan's books. Bettina's is the same and more. She goes through so much... When I first read them I had to wait months to see what happened next, but with this box set... Sooo much better. These are books you Must read. Chandelle is by far my favorite author

Wow, had this series sitting in my library for awhile and once I finally started reading I couldn’t stop! Amazing writing and so detailed that I was right there the entire time. These books need to be a tv series not a movie because I need more than 2hrs of these characters I need seasons. Now I’m going back to read Tegan’s and Tenns story
