The media could not be loaded. These bulbs are less expensive in general AND don't require a hub. Two big wins there. I've had two of these installed on my front porch for a week or so now, and they're still shining bright.Installation was as simple as screwing in a light bulb.To set them up, I installed the Cync app and used that. I initially had a failure adding the bulbs, but later determined it was because I was attempting to name a room and a group with the same name during setup. When I retried setup and used different names, it worked flawlessly.After setup the bulbs needed a firmware update. Ya, weird... light bulbs... firmware... The update failed on both bulbs at first - don't know why. When I went back in to try again it worked just fine and they both updated.Adding the group to Google home was simple, but USING them is hit/miss. It looks like Google has issues talking with the Cync servers. Using the Cync app worked every time. For these particular bulbs, I really don't have a desire to use Google Home, but if I get additional interior bulbs I'll have to dig further.I got the A21 (100W equivalent) so they were brighter, but after installing these the A19s would be fine. In fact I've set the dim to 50% they were so bright.Changing colors and setting favorites is easy, and the animated stuff is cool. In the attached video, they go from "normal", to "candle", to "vegas", to "lava", then back to normal. You can create your own effects as well.I'm considering replacing my kitchen bulbs with these!

Being used for several lamps in different rooms. Even though they are named differently, it was very easy to make a group name so that I could still either control separately or control together as a group. I had no problems connecting them to the rest of my online products and works just fine with Alexa.

Lights are super cool and do exactly what I wanted in theory, if the App actually worked. The app can't figure out that folks want start and end times to occur over night. For example lights start at 10 and end at 8:00 a.m. the next morning. The app would say there were time conflicts. Worked with support several times and basically just kept being told to redo the schedule or redo the entire setup.Have it tricked to "sort of" work like it should but it's sad in 2024 folks can't figure out how to build a functional app.

Bought these light bulbs based on the brand and the high reviews. I've had them for 10 months they were working great. had them set up on a timer. Last night, one of them lost connection and I've tried reset it to get it to connect again. Only this one will not connect at all now. This morning another one did the same thing! If you decided to buy these just know they will not last very long and you will get frustrated with them!! I am trying a different brand and see if they are any better. (TP-Link/Kasa) has better reviews so we shall see!

I normally don't write reviews, but after fumbling around trying to set up my 100 watt feit smart bulb, and even on phone with feit tech...I returned it and bought the 100 watt (equivalent) bulbs from cync (General Electric). Wow...so much easier! Screw in bulb....turn light on...say..alexa discover new light.Bam....that's it. I didn't even need to Install a special app. from Ge.Hopefully I will remain happy with my new bulbs, but I was so excited about the easy installation...I wrote this review.

Easy setup with Cync app. Bought them to connect with my Alexa smart home. Connected to Alexa much easier then other smart bulbs I purchased in the past.

Still not let down by this product after purchasing multiple.

It always disconnects from Alexa, so you have to go into the app and reset it.
