It works
It’s fairly easy to install. Once you get the gromet out the firewall of the old one. But trying to make the gromet of the new one go through the hole, not an easy task. But good thing they make a little putty you can put there to stop water from coming in 🤷🏽♂️ easy fix

Not a direct replacement,. As the handle is wider than the stock and sticks out past the panel. It will work, just wonder how long it will be before it gets inadvertantly hit and broken

Hood Release cable 1995 GMC C1500 Sierra..
I bought this hood release cable for my 1995 GMC C-1500 Sierra and it fit great. Easy to remove and put back on..Just had to release a few clips and use a string to feed it back thru the firewall. I recommend this to any one that needs a hood release cable..Doorman is a great product.
