A previous reviewer praised it's having all connections on one side. After thinking about it, I have to agree with the sentiment. Also, it's heavy enough that it doesn't slip around quite as easily as some of the other cheap ethernet desktop switches.Other than that... I dunno. It does what it is supposed to do, and at this price, that's about what you can ask for, and having done what it is supposed to do, and doing it well, and not bothering with any non-essential silliness, it deserves, and gets, a 5.

Great

This is a basic unmanaged switch, nothing special. Except that both power and Ethernet connections are on the same side. This sounds unimportant, but makes wire management SO much easier. Love it.

Easy plug-and play-switch

The switch is small and made out of metal which is great. I had an older 100mbit version that worked great as a laptop bag switch for those times it was necessary. While the switch works fine, the wall wort power adapter that came with it is DOA. I have an entire junk drawer full of old power supplies so finding a 5v with the right connector wasn't a problem, but it was disappointing. You get what you pay for I guess, and in this case all the dollars go into the metal switch and not the power supply.

I have used a bunch of these. They all work great. Great gigabit speeds and a fanless design for quiet operation. No issues. I also appreciate how this is one of the only small gigabit unmanaged switches with ports on the back side. This design makes for a much cleaner look. Would continue to buy again when needed.

Had a few low price 5 port gigabit switch in my cart and decided to go with this one. So easy to use , just plug in your Ethernet cables and the power adapter. Very compact size, literally size of a wallet.

I shopped around wanted a metal switch with all ports on the rear I was a little concerned with the lack of reviews but this is a new release and the previous model has 1000s of reviews. I'm glad to say this is exactly what I was looking for. The unit is small looks great and everything is up and working. Alot of stuff I was finding from Netgear and others with rear ports were plastic units. I included a pic hopefully you can get a good idea of the size and everything.

Not much to say yet, time will tell if it's a good buy. But first impression after a week of usage, all is good. Nice little unit, does what it's supposed to do. The metal case keep it cool. There's no network ethernet cable included with the device though. Overall, I recommend it.
