Calphalon Premier Hard-Anodized Nonstick 8.5-Quart Dutch Oven with Lid

This is the most useful Dutch oven I have ever owned. It is big enough to braise an entire 5-6 lb. brisket. It is also great for making stews, meat sauces and anything else in large quantities. It has been a godsend especially at Christmas when preparing multiple menu items. It can be cleaned quickly with a wet sponge. Nothing sticks to it. Great product!!

Seems sturdy and good non stick so far. Hope it lasts longer that my old Calphalon which warped and scratched. It said it was improved so we’ll see.

This is my go-to pot for family means. I LOVE IT! This is my second purchase of this item. The first one I’ve had for years and the interior became scratched. I tried to be careful with only using plastic/wood utensils but I do use metal tongs to turn meet when browning. But in the end, either the metal tongs or putting other pans inside it, scratched the non stick coating. This time, I’m going to be more diligent in not letting it get scratched up.

I love that I can use any utensils with it. I have yet to burn anything in it so that’s a plus. Easy to clean. And the lid is flat. Makes a great spoon rest

Received the first one which was dented so badly that the lid would not fit. Why would you send it out like that? Ordered it again, and the rim of the pot has a ding in it leaving a sharp edge. The pot is not round so you have to squeeze the lid on there to make it fit. Returning this one too. Both came in a plain box, so my guess is it was a previous return, sold as new.

This is one of my favorite pots. Holds heat very well, easy to use and clean. I can cook steaks, fried rice, different types of dishes and has replaced my wok. Already have another one
