I paid $20 at my local grocery store bakery for an 8 inch two layer round cake. The occasion was a small family gathering for a 50th wedding anniversary. I gave the decorator the package of the gold butterflies. Her eyes lit up with excitement on how she would use them on the cake. When I picked up the cake it was absolutely gorgeous with the butterflies seeming to be in-flight around the side and onto the top of the cake. She fabricated pink roses around the perimeter of the cake as were in the bridesmaids bouquets so long ago. The butterflies made the cake look like an expensive custom cake. The little kids loved the butterflies. I have many butterflies left over that I will use for other decorative purposes. I think the smaller ones would be perfect on cupcakes.

Got these for a birthday party event that I had and it was beautiful. Just as I thought they would be.
