Incredible
This is spectacular! I needed something to make cheese straws. Everything else I tried to use was so hard, it’s a stiff dough so it’s hard to put thru a regular cookie press. But this was a breeze to use and cleanup was easy. Highly recommend

Perfect cookie shaper and grinds meat too!
Purchased this to make my Grandma's biscuit recipe. I could not find the same one she would crank cookie shapes out of but this was close! Hers also doubled as a meat grinder, as does this one but I am not sure if I will ever need that function. Perfect cookie producer here!

unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations.
The forms are not of good quality, so the shape of the biscuits is not acceptable

Great for making German cookies
Nice and solid. Don't care for the wide opening . is a bit awkward to use for pushing cookie dough thru.

Best Cookie Press on the market
If you've ever watched your mom sweating in the kitchen from cranking out 15 batches of cheese straws will appreciate this item! This is the best and easiest tool for making Cheese Straws and butter cookies on the market.

Decent cookie maker with some work
I bought this meat grinder for the cookie attachment. Three complaints that I have. The grinder itself did not stay in one place on the counter. I tried multiple things to try to make it stable. The instability of the grinder made turning the handle more difficult while at the same time pushing the dough through. Second, when the attachment used to push the dough was completely in the unit, it became stuck. I learned not to let this attachment become flush with the unit. Third, I don't know why the top of this attachment is open. If it were closed and one solid piece, it would be easier to use. The cookies turned out great but were a little more work with the grinder than I had hoped. Still easier than a cookie press.

excellent German engineering! ;)
I purchased this grinder to replace a favorite one I bought probably 20 years ago that was either Swiss- or German-made (I loaned it to someone and unfortunately never got it back). Have searched in vain for its identical replacement and finally decided to buy this one. Have not yet used it but it is very well made and sturdy, with a high quality, stainless steel cutting blade and a strong suction base. I will not grind meat in it, which I'm aware is important to some buyers - sorry I can't help you there. But I will use it to make fresh cranberry-orange relish and a few other fruit and vegetable things that I believe it will be able to handle with ease. It does include an attachment to make pressed (Spritz-style) cookies, so perhaps that will have value to some people, though I have a cookie press so likely will not use that feature. So far I like it!
