I’m writing this review at 3am. I am laying on the couch escaping the chemical out gassing of this rug, because even after airing this rug outside for a full two days, it has stunk up my room with a chemical smell. I’m worried it could harm me and especially my baby who hasn’t hardly slept tonight since we tried to put the rug inside. I’ve been tossing and turning all night, kind of have a headache and a scratchy throat. I believe this rug to be made with harmful glue chemicals and after researching it appears to take 5 years for carpets and rugs to out gas fully. I mean, gross! I have no idea how to package this back up to return it but I payed $250 for it and I swear I want it out of the house it is horribly stinky I can’t believe no one else noticed this in the reviews!!

Beautiful rug and arrived much faster than expected. It does need to be taped to the floor to "train" the edges, which want to stay rolled up (like most rugs). Like another reviewer said, the border of the rug is light blue, not navy, and in general the colors are slightly brighter in person that in the pictures. The photo shows the 6'7" diameter rug under a 48" diameter table.

I am so obsessed with this rug! I am stationed overseas and this rug shipped to my post office with no issues, and it came way faster than I expected. It is so soft and the colors are gorgeous. I'm so in love that I plan on purchasing the runner for my kitchen!

Love it! Bought it to replace a smaller rug I had in the space. Nice vivid colors. Definitely needed the felt pad I ordered under it, due to how thin it is, but so did my last rug. Lovely rug, nice price, and I did some sereious looking around before making this purchase.

Gorgeous!I bought this as a gift for someone else and am so thrilled with the results. I own authentic Persian rugs that were many times the cost of this simulation but honestly, I am thrilled with how beautiful this rug is.Given the other comments about being too pink or bright borders, we were apprehensive, but the rug looks exactly like the picture. In fact, prettier.Polyolefins are a breeze to maintain. We bought another rug from Safavieh previously and are really pleased with it as well.Also, it came in less than a week, perfectly wrapped, with a customer friendly card inside from the manufacturer.We are now sure that we will get others. See the room we put it in, in a brand new home in the process of being decorated. As we add artwork and other furniture, we will update the pictures so you can see how the room is anchored by this gorgeous carpet.

I am giving this 3 stars because it is strurdy yet soft, so I really like the material, but... the colors are not as pictured!! I'm real disappointed. These were the EXACT colors I wanted. The "violet", especially around the border of rug, comes off more as pink (not like picture at all). It's not that I dislike the color of this rug it's just not what I intended when purchasing. I attached pictures so you can see the pink color I'm talking about.

Soft underfoot, and I am going to keep as they are just runners for my kitchen that will probably be spilled on, and they are ok for the price. But disappointed because color is not as pictured. I ordered the Navy/Light Blue and it does not have a dark blue binding. The binding is bright light blue, almost aqua. I ordered two, they don't exactly match .. the smaller has almost none of the dark color in the middle, and it's actually more like teal. While the larger has more of the darker center, it is made up of variations of a dark teal, black and and what I would call royal blue. While the overall impression is blue-ish, it's more of a teal, and it is certainly not navy as pictured. The entire impression is brighter and lighter than pictured, and the light binding is just weird. If you look at the Light Blue/Fuchsia picture, that's what color the binding is.

Item was already opened and re sealed with cardboard. It also arrived square when I thought it was rectangle. Not happy can't deal with trying to send it back seen it I've opened it . Also corners stick up if arrived rolled up so will take a long time to go flat. Feels soft but its not the shape I ordered.

A few reviews that I’d read prior to purchasing warned about the carpet not laying flat, about it being extremely thin & necessitating a rug pad underneath, and giving off intense chemical fumes.The photo was taken on the day that I first unrolled it. As you can see, there are a few minor bumps but overall I’m impressed by how flat it laid down. It’s been a week and all of the bumps have smoothed; I now only have weighted items flattening the innermost edge that’d been curled into the rolled carpet.Considering the number of reviews that said it was too thin to be comfortable on a hard surface, I was expecting a far thinner carpet. I have it over tile. While a rug pad would probably feel more luxurious, I don’t think it’s absolutely necessary. Perhaps I’ll purchase a pad in the future, but using it alone isn’t as uncomfortable as I’d anticipated from the earlier reviews.I have the carpet placed in the most open area of my home (open concept living room, dining area & kitchen), which surely factors in, however I did not smell anything unpleasant. The usual new rug smell was relatively subtle & didn’t require airing out before bringing it indoors.Overall, I love my new rug! I was extremely happy when I saw it was available to be paid for over 5 months without interest. Because I’m low income, that was ideal. I love the colours and have received many compliments on it already.

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to carry a 6'7 rug back to the ups store? It feels like a lot of regret. Learn from my mistake. Bug a rug in stores. (or any other rug than this). That picture is a bit deceiving. The color is very off and is more of a pinkish-orange than a red. the actual material feels meh but the quality is just not worth. Go buy a good rug, not this one.
