Plenty big for 200 ft of throw line. Has loop at bottom to attach one end of the line. I throw the line without having to first pull the line from the bag -- just open it fully. I added a small carabiner to the ring on the outside, and attach my line end and throw weight to it, so i don't lose them it he bag. The canvas bag seems heavy duty and has held up well for a few uses.This bag is specifically designed for arborist 1/8" poly throw line. If you are using it for something else, please consider that when writing your review. Arborists will use 100 to 200 ft of 1/8 braided poly line. We do not wrap the line, but lay it loosly and naturally int he bag a little at a time, so it pulls nice and easy when the weight and line are thrown.

I am just a rookie recreational tree climber. I had been looping/bundling my Throw Line and that was not working well at all. I really didn't want to spend the extra money on something like this but the reality is it works quite well and I am very thankful that I bought it. The bag is plenty roomy for my 150' of line and Throw Weight. I open it, grab the Weight and a bit of line and toss it. The line peels out of the bag snag free. Once I am done with it I simply thread the line back into the bag (somewhat neatly), attach the Weight to one of the side rings, close it up and fold it into a nice small bundle to put in my rope bag.

Great little bag. Fit 300 feet of paracord and my throw weight no problem. I just tried launching my setup into a tree and the line lifted straight with no resistance or tangles. The ring on the bottom of the bag is a nice feature and used to clip your line on. The side d-rings are a great option also. I have not tried climbing with the bag on and not sure why I would but if I ever need to the d-rings are great. Really fast shipping. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs to launch a throwline into a tree. Its doesnt have springs to keep it standing on its own but with a bit of line in it the material is sturdy enougb to where it does stand up making flaking line into it easy. If you are thinking about buying this bag buy it. You wont regret it.

We had a dangerous tree damage with an 85’ oak getting sheared off 30 feet up with the top jammed into the ground upright and tangled in multiple trees. After no response from tree companies, I decided to get it down with a rope saw and throw line. This bag allowed smooth throws without tangling the line in ground debris in the woods. I needed multiple throws to hit narrow targets for cutting and attaching a come-along line. That all worked very smoothly and the bag stores the line and throw weight neatly for future work.

I use two anchors, and this bag is great for keeping the rode tangle free, and get anchors deployed quickly. Putting the anchor away takes a little more time than just coiling up around the arm, but worth the effort.

Works, holds my 16 oz bag with 150' of throw line no problem and I can put my 6' tree strap in there too.

Very nice bag. ROund bottom, has a d ring inside to tie the end of the line. Top has a drawstring with a spring loaded clip. D rings on top too for clipping on to carabiners, etc. Material seems pretty tuff, some form of rugged nylon.

Awesome little bag. Was able to stuff 100' of 3/8" anchor rope in this no problem. I could probably stuff another 100' feet if I wanted to.
