CD reissue includes bonus track. Here To Stay is the second album by the duo of keyboardist Jan Hammer guitarist Neal Schon. Schon is the guitarist for Journey and Hammer is best known for his soundtrack work on the Miami Vice TV series. Jan was also one of the leading figures in fusion jazz, being one of the original members of the Mahavishnu Orchestra. This album also features contributions from Schon's band mates in Journey including songwriting and background vocals from Steve Perry. The album cover is a play on the well-known Arm & Hammer brand baking soda. Here To Stay debuted on the Billboard Music Charts on 2/5/83 for 12 weeks and peaked at #122. This album is a must have! It includes the bonus track "Weekend Heaven".

Excellent re-master
As with the previous Schon / Hammer reissue the sound on this disc is unbelievable. I've always loved this album since it came out in the early '80s. Crank it up to 11 !

Journey Lite?
It's ok if you like Neal Schon. It sounds like several Journey tracks that didn't make the cut for a proper Journey album. Jeff Beck with Jan Hammer is a better duo.
