Works but too tight to put the batteries on or take out

If you have the batteries but not the spot welder, and don't want to solder directly to the battery (a no-no), then you can use 2 of these to make a nice little 12V battery pack. Just carefully push in the batteries into the spring-loaded holders, solder the power and the balance leads onto the tabs, add a fuse, and you're good to go. Since holders for 26650 are expensive too, this seems like a good choice for low-to-moderate power needs.

Tight fit with my a123 cells but they worked. I was able to pull 15 amps through with some voltage drop. Temp of terminals was 41 C roughly.

Crimped 1/4" spade terminals worked so well I didn't even try soldering. Shown here crimped with 18AWG main & 20AWG balance leads. The holder is sturdy. The battery terminals are secured to the holder, and the batteries can be removed easily enough (even these K2s w/ paper wrappers). Two screw holes for mounting. I do wish they had a center channel for routing wires like some other designs. A bit expensive for a bigger build.Edit: Watch the positive terminals! If you slide the cell evenly straight up, the positive terminal can get under the wrapper and short to the case - at least with my K2s with no insulator ring. Lift the negative end and pivot about the positive terminal then scoot the cell down and out. I've charged and tested 60+ cells that way with no problem.

Use these to test hundreds of 26650 cells so far including some that are actually 27mm in diameter. Used brass round bar soldered to each lead off the holders to connect them all together so my charger sees them as a 1s LiFePO4 “battery”. Buying another set to add more test capacity.

I had to really shove to get the 26165 batteries into these cases. I would assume that batteries without protection circuitry would slip right in.

I used these slots to make a 3S or 12V battery pack in order to feed my front and rear Supernova mini pro 45 lights. I put them together with 3M double sided tape. The batteries fit perfectly. The installation is a bit hard on the first attempt until the springs open up. Good luck

I cut off the black side tabs for more compact mounting, and drilled out the contacts to solder in higher gauge wire. I need to draw a lot of amps though, and most people should not need to do this. They are good clips, modified or not.
