Excellent product........but price is high
I have used this polish for 40 years. It is an easy to apply, I believe, beeswax based polish with additives, very suitable for good antique (and other) wooden furniture. It has a pleasant smell. It has the consistency of butter in a warm kitchen. It penetrates the grain of the wood well and buffs to a classic soft sheen. The polish enhances the natural colour and grain of the wood. It is reliable and safe. However, should it be applied over a previous silicone wax polish it will not penetrate well and will likely remain smeary. In which case use a polish remover (Antiquax makes a very good one which I have found gentle and safe but needs to be used with caution and some skill) to remove the older finish.My local hardware shop is selling this same product around £1.50 cheaper.
