Q: Is this water resistant material?

It can be washed in the washing machine so it can’t be water resistant.

Q: Can you use this bag as a crossbody/ shoulder bag? Thank you!

This is designed to be worn as a backpack. Can also wear it over the shoulder, because of the way the straps intertwine. I tried adjusting the purse straps to the longest length, which then will pull the bag together, and can be worn over one shoulder like a crossbody, with the purse facing the back. When you try to wear the purse in the front, it’s not flat, and will hang sideways, and sits higher than a normal crossbody.

Q: Could I fit my lunch in here for work?

Yes. Absolutely. You can fit your lunch and more. It's a roomy bag with lots of uses.

Q: Does it have a wide opening ?

Main center area has a zipper and HUGE opening! Even the outer side pouch that zippers opens wide to get things in and out or see what's all in there as you dig for something. LOVE this purse!
