Unlike everyone else, I bought the light blue/black, 2.7x5, to cover a worn looking area on my berber carpet. It’s in a room with 4 other area rugs, none of them match, but are similar in style, they all look great together, and work well with my eclectic decor. The rug came neatly rolled in thick, protective plastic, and flattened out fast, with a few heavy books on the corners overnight - and the books probably weren’t even necessary. No chemical odor that I could detect. It is surprisingly PLUSH compared to some other area rugs I have by the same manufacturer. Feels great to walk on! I have it in a high traffic area, so that will be a true test to see how it holds up long term.Since I have it over my wall to wall carpet, it stays put, with no need for a pad underneath. It feels very cozy underfoot. My cat has been laying on it since I put it down!The description says “light” blue, but I wouldn’t call it light. The color is a little deeper/darker in person, compared to the online photos, but I’m happy with it. I was worried it would be more of a true blue, or too pale of a blue, but it isn’t. It’s a warm grayish blue, with a touch of green. Maybe you could call it a muted peacock blue, or Prussian blue, or the blue green color of the ocean in the North Atlantic, as you are getting close to land. Mine does NOT have those patches of fake distressing, which I’m very happy about. The design/pattern is perfect, some reviews said their design was uneven, edges wider on one side or something like that….the design on mine is fine.Will anyone be fooled into thinking it’s a real Persian rug? Hell no - but it’s really soft and really pretty. I could see it working in a lot of different decors. Next time I’m in need for a larger area rug, I would definitely consider this Safavieh Vintage Hamadan. Being so thick, plush, and cozy, it would be a great rug for a living room or bedroom. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a beautiful, soft, affordable rug!

I have bought 4 of these rugs in the last year. The colors are great. The prices are great. The rugs are durable and easy to keep clean. Definitely recommend.

In the picture, the edit/filter makes it look orangey, but it isn’t. It’s a gorgeous red. The colors are vibrant but not overwhelming.This is the fourth rug I have purchased from Safavieh, and I will be buying more. We are remodeling our home, so will be staying in our camper until we can live in the house. I wanted to make it homey, comfortable, relaxing, and decorative.With two kids full time, + a bonus son, and two dogs, I figured i would venture from the “farmhouse” bandwagon that everyone is on. I’m not a very big fan of it anyway. I wanted something that would add life, and I wouldn’t have to rush to clean if one of my babies made an oopsie on the rug.This is perfect!Like the other 3 rugs I’ve purchased (one being a gift), the price is amazing for the high quality!No smell. Flattened out perfectly after a night with books laid on it. Soft. Thick. But not too heavy.I have shampooed my other rugs multiple times and they’ve held up great after almost 3 years!Love this company. Love the rugs. Always on point!

I really like this rug. It is a rich color, appears to be well made, and is easy to vacuum with its medium pile. I have my eye on several other SAFAVIEH rugs. A good value for the money.

This rug is very soft and “cushy” and the colors look great in the soft/warm light of my basement studio space. It’s so cushy that people usually ask if I have a pad under it, which I do not. If you look at this rug close up, the design is pretty “pixelated” looking for lack of a better word and under a more harsh, fluorescent light the colors are a little weird and unnatural looking. What looks like a tan is a mix of lime/high vis greens and the blues are almost an electric blue. In a space with a lot of natural light or bright, cool light it might not give the same feel as it does with soft warm light, FYI. But in my space which literally has zero natural light and only warm string lights and lamps, I think it works well.

Did not look as great as pictured. Instead of a burgundy it was a very bright apple red. Looked a little cheap like the pattern was printed on. Did not look authentic like the picture. Looked very manufactured. It was soft and thick though.

Got this because the price is right, and it is very nice. Mind you, it isn't a wool 1K rug, but it will suffice. It's pretty nice quality. Delivered quickly, and packaged well. Unroll and it took a little while to settle down. But it is really really nice. Love it!

This rug was so much thicker and more luxurious that I anticipated. It’s easily the nicest rug in my house. Yes, the design is “printed” as opposed to woven, but it still looks fabulous, and not cheap whatsoever.
