Tigerflex Series J PVC Suction Hose Assembly, Green, 4" Male X Female Water Shanks , 50 PSI Maximum Pressure, 4" Hose ID, 20' Length

Pipe arrived and looked great at first glance, green part of pipe seems to be fine. I decided to try and hook it up to the pump right away, just to make sure the threads matched. Tried to put female end onto pump but quickly noticed that the brass fitting would barely spin around on the aluminum piece that is pushed into pipe. It kept getting hung up in a couple of spots. Looked at the female fitting a little closer and could tell the inner aluminum piece was out of round, appears to be a possible manufacturing/assembly flaw where the clamp may have been crimped too hard therefore making the fitting out of round. This was a gift for a friend who let me use his pump and he decided it wasn't worth exchanging the pipe for a new one. We got a large pair of channel lock pliers and got it to where it would spin better, still not perfect like you would expect a new product to be but useable.

High quality product; much less money then elsewhere.

This is my replacement hose. The first one leaked at the connection to my pump. This one does the same thing and I will be returning it.
