This is a really great and simple addition to the Biocube that seems to do a great job. I installed it without a protein skimmer so it required no modifications at all to my tank other than just pulling out the old filtration piece. It does a great job of forcing the water through all of the media that you put into it. I put filter floss on the top, then purigen, then chemi pure blue. That seems to be a good combination that is keeping my water very clear. The only thing I'd have preferred be different is for some instructions to be included. I know there's a video on the manufacturers website, but it's outdated and not for the Biocube 32. Even a single sheet of directions would have been a great addition.

Media rack is great customer service and support is top notch!
Product is fantastic! Works very well, solid build good design and most importantly amazing customer service. Contacted Steve inquiring about replacing my skimmer with the refugium basket. Instead of peddling his product he gave me straight up advice and some tips on dialing in my skimmer better. Totally trust his advice and will purchase his products again for future builds. If I could rate this product higher I would

Perfect Fit, Perfect Product!
Exactly what I needed to turn my middle chamber into a better filter system. I'm using a sponge at the top and liverock in the bottom. Works perfectly!

Great but the designer is color blind
Great product works better than the media basket that came with the BioCube. Only reason for the 4 stars is the person who decided to make the overflow tab neon green should be fired. You can see the green from inside the tank. Not sure why black wasn’t the obvious color choice since the whole BioCube is black. Common sense but they missed the boat on that.

Sleek organization media basket... for the Bio cube
I like the simple but complex organization this basket provides.

it works
used for my biocube great product, the diverter trap up top still lets water down the sides of the wall so you have to clean out the back as well sometimes but all and all better than the original media rack

Great addition to BioCube 32 Gallon
I set up my BioCube 32 gallon aquarium on May 7, 2020, and plan on developing it into a reef tank. I set it up with the media rack that was included with the tank, but I knew right away that it was going to be a real pain to replace the chemical filters and maintain the placement of the MarinePure Cubes. Also, the water from Chamber 1 would mostly bypass the included charcoal/floss filter in Chamber 2, and drain directly into Chamber 3.After a bit of research, I purchased two of the InTank Media Baskets. Both arrived on June 15, 2020, and both arrived in perfect condition. (When I placed my order, I did request that it be shipped in Amazon packaging, so each basket was in its original manufacturer's box (see picture #1), then both were shipped inside an Amazon box.)In the first basket, I am using InTank filter floss on the top shelf; Purigen on the second shelf; ChemiPure Blue on the third shelf (I used the removable shelf from the second basket); and a couple MarinePure Cubes on the bottom shelf.I then filled the second basket with my remaining MarinePure Cubes (I did stagger them to allow for water flow). As you can see from picture #2, the green water director guides the water directly onto the filter floss and, thus, forces the water to the shelves and chemical filters below.Since installing both baskets three days ago, my Nitrate levels have decreased from 10 ppm to 5.0 ppm, a direct result (IMO) of the water director forcing the water flow directly into the first basket.I do wish the water director was black because you can see the green (a little bit) through Chamber 1 the back of the tank. However, once corals are introduced and grow, I can see it blending in with it all.As for the price, I do think it's a bit overpriced. However, unless you're willing to go through the trouble of making one yourself, I would say it's still worth purchasing.Needless to say, this was a great addition to my BioCube and I am very happy with my purchase.

Doesn't fit, have to use it sideways
Not sure if it's a specific year or make of the biocube 32, but mine has a small edge about 5 inches down in the second chamber that's built in to the tank where the original media tray is. If that wasn't there it would fit perfectly. So I have to use it sideways now. Still is better than the original though. Maybe I got sent the wrong one but it says it was for the 32 gallon. For the price of some plastic I thought it would fit so I could easily access it.
