Great Product - Check The Box Contents Carefully
I ordered this model for my 2018 Jayco 29.5 BHOK 5th wheel and while the steps are nicely designed and provide a level of stability that isn't provided on the factory steps, their attention to detail in assembly and packaging was rather bush-league. The product was drop shipped from Mor/ryde and came packaged in a cardboard box with preformed foam packaging for the corners and sides of the box. Given the size of the package, they could have gone the extra mile and have been more judicious in the use of packing tape - the box was pressed in along the top and bottom of the boxes and with only a singly row of 2" tape used, easily opened. Maybe next time they could spring for the 4" role of packing tape and not just apply it along the length of the seams, but across the seams as well to keep the box from splitting?? When I opened the package the rest of the way, I found no dings/dents or anything like that in the steps so went about installing them in my camper. Installation is a stupidly simple process - it took all of 20 minutes to do. With that said, there was no mounting hardware in the box. Given their shoddy job of sealing the box in the first place, it's entirely possible that this fell out in transit. This wasn't a terribly big issue as I used my own screws, but the pins for the legs were missing as well. After installing the steps, I really had no issues with fitment. The fit of the screen and main doors is close enough that I may see if they "work in" instead of doing any trimming or fitting. Raising and lowering the steps is performed easily enough. Now, after installing and "trying out" the steps, the very first thing I notices was that the left side of the bottom step twisted enough that someone would be at serious risk of spraining or breaking an ankle. Closer inspection revealed that there was supposed to be 3 screws/pins on each side of the step to hold it in place. Not on this one! They managed to install a single screw/pin in the center of the left side of the screw and omitted the front/rear screws entirely, which is why it twisted. I already installed it and they're large enough I'm not screwing around with returns, so I'll just fix it myself. I managed to call Mor/ryde the next day - good times with that. They don't have a customer service number - if you go to their website, they have listings for 6 different plants/facilities in Indiana to call. The main number is also the number used by employees to report if they'll be absent from work on any given day. With that said, I did manage to speak with Ashley with Aftermarket Sales, who took my information and is sending me out the mounting gear - at this point, I don't care about the screws, but I do want my leg pins.Overall - I give it a 4 out of 5. The steps are very nicely done when built right and provide a level of sturdiness that is unmatched by any RV factory step - but they lose a star based on the lack of attention to detail in assembly and packaging, which I think could be much better.

Make in the US, and it the pride shows
Bottom line, it's a well designed and well-built product, and it's Made in America. My only issue was the screen door. I had to remove the fuzz strip at the bottom to close the door. If the door installer would have installed the screen a bit higher, it wouldn't have been an issue. As most people are saying, quick easy install. The only thing I wish the mfg would include would be a spacer template. A simple cardboard/wood/plastic piece that is 15/16" wide and about a foot long would have been SO much easier to use than trying to spot the small line on my tape measure. It's 15/16, not an inch, or 3/4, but 15/16. Trying to align this big object, centering it on the door opening and parallel to my door sill at 15/16" sucks. My eyes suck, I'm getting old. But this is the worse that I can say. Everything else was a breeze. Sorry, one last gripe, they could have cleaned off all the metal shavings from the cutting and screwing. It's a minor thing, but metal splinters suck too. This is a good investment. I feel like I am using concrete steps. It feels that secure and robust. Better than wood steps that still creak. One major issue I used to have with the old steps was scraping the back of my Achilles stepping down and rubbing on the sharp edge of the steps. THESE STEPS ARE ROUNDED AND SMOOTH. All aluminum extrusion. Safe, secure, and built in the US.

Why did we wait so long
These steps are a MUST. We have a 2014 Fuzion that came with the stand pull out three steps. Overtime these become a tad ugly, and unsafe. Its night and day. These stairs are so solid, pretty easy to install and overall great to look at. They clean easy, and they lay nice on the concrete. The first set I paid $50 less and was hoping the price would come down but it is what it is and we needed another set for our garage. If on the fence, don't be you'll be very glad you made the change. The took box that can be purchased separately to hide the hole where your stairs once were is not that great. Water gets in and you really need to seal it, otherwise whatever you store in there will be a mess.

Before buying read qualifier on morryde.com web site
This is a very nice step if it fits your trailer. Very solid and folds up nicely and locks on door frame. Be sure to read what they call the “Qualifier” that is on the morryde.com website for the step above step. Read the sheet very carefully. I did not know of the quailifier sheet and when I got the step it did not fit my door without major modifications to the door. I decided that for me the modifications: cutting off the bottom of the door, and screen door ( a complex job requiring hours of labor), grinding an edge off jutting out below the threshold, and installing a 5/8 threshold. Cutting off the door required a professional level of metal working (I am a retired metal shop teacher. I almost sent it back, but the shipping would have been expensive and then I missed the return window thinking about it. The door I have was made by napveen window company with zero threshold height. The step above was designed for a specific door made for 2015 and later trailers. Call tech support for the step above before you buy if you have doubts.

Mor-ryde Staircase and handrail for RV
A great purchase well worth the money. We bought at a great price $60 off through FB Ad from Amazon. The staircase fit perfectly. The RV doors (including the screen door) close with ease; the doors do not rub when opening or closing. The staircase fits the RV right out of the box. We did not remove the existing RV 3 step stair. We also installed the handrail that was easy to attach to the staircase. Installation for all took about 15 to 20 minutes total. Installed on a 2016 Grand Design Reflection 5th Wheel.

Game changer
Best investment we purchased for out new to us fifth wheel. My wife has mobility issues and was literally crawling into the trailer before installing these steps. With the steps along with the railing, she now gets in and out without help. They are a game changer for us. I had to modify the bottom of the door for clearance but that wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be.

Supposed to be brand new but we’re scratched in 3 places.
Love these steps. Can’t wait to try them once installed. Only complaint is damage (scratches) in the metal on the steps. Deep scratches. The box looked like it had been previously opened and retaped for shipping. Otherwise, happy.
