Love this company and their soaps but mine showed up with no scent
I've been buying this company soaps for well over 6 months now and I love them the variety the textures and definitely the scents. So I thought I would try something new with this bar it's a great idea but when I received my bar soap there was no smell and at $10 a bar I want it to smell like what I paid for

Two in One
Lemon Sorbet is fabulous soap! The lemon side is very smooth while the other side is more exfoliating. It smells clean and fresh. Pre de Provence makes good quality soap.

Palm oil
One of the most famous French Soap is called “Savon de Marseille”. It is generally made with Olive oil and alkaline ash from plants of the Mediterranean Sea floor.Once this is said, not all French soaps are using the same formula and it is the case in point with Pre de Provence which is using Palm oil and Shea butter to create its soap. Here are the ingredients:Sodium Palmate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Aqua, Parfum/Fragrance, Palm Kernel Acid, Glycerin, Organic Butyrospermum Parkii (shea) butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (shea) oil, Sunflower seed oil, Rosemary leaf extract, Apricot seed powder, Tetrasodium EDTA, and a few more chemical products...In clear, the main ingredient is Palm Oil (Sodium Palmate).Contrarily to a previous soap bar I reviewed for Pre de Provence, this bar does not make any claims of not using harmful chemical products or parabens.I am not a fan of these ingredients, especially the Palm oil and the impact of its cultivation on our ecosystem. It always kind of bugs me when I see all the claims as No this and No that and when the main ingredient is not good (no mention of where the Palm oil comes from). As for the sensation, I am not a fan of using the soap bar directly on my skin and I'd rather use a wash towel so the two sides do not work well for me. I was able to test the gentle exfoliating effects for the sake of this review as well as the softer side and both appear to work well. This soap bar provides a nice foam and a pleasant scent. In conclusion: If you care about buying products that are as little harmless to our ecosystem and maybe your skin, you ought to find another bar or soap. Now if you just care about how the soap works for you, then it does a good job washing you.Now the price of $10 is not justified for me, specifically when this soap is not organic. As for me, I have access to much better soap bars using organic products so I will pass on this one.2 stars.Edit 04/07/20I forgot to tell that my cat usually loves to lick my soap bars. For some reasons, some scents do attract her a lot, like olive oil. In this case, she smelled this soap bar on a few different occasions and each time, she left after just a sniff... I take it as one more proof that this bar is not using natural products...

Nice, but price?
First off: It’s a really big bar of soap. Much bigger than the bars I usually get. As a matter of fact, it’s kind of hard to hold onto it when I’m using it and I dropped it a couple of times.I like the floral scent, but it *is* pretty strong. As soon as I opened the package I was like “whoa”. It’s a little strong when you’re actually using it, but doesn’t leave that much lingering scent on your skin so even if you’re scent-sensitive you might be okay.I was really looking forward to trying this because of the exfoliating layer, but was kind of disappointed. I use a very strong exfoliator (apricot scrub) usually and it’s a level 3. This is more of a level 1. So, again: if you are looking for a very mild exfoliator this might be what you’re looking for.I also didn’t find the moisturizing layer that much more moisturizing than my regular soap. I was able to shave my legs with it, though, so it passes that test!So all-in-all…it’s not a bad bar of soap, but it didn’t meet the high expectations I had based on the price and description.

Premium soap with premium price tag!
The soap's packaging is nice and it is a big heavy soap because it has two skincare functionalities, one on each side. All the ingredients are clearly listed on the label and it is made in France. This is the premium product in soap. The fragrance is welcoming, not too strong and the floral scent is mild enough for both sexes.I enjoy the side with the scrub texture, because it cleans my skin like a facial scrub and it gets rid of dead skin on the surface and dirt that clogged the pores. My skin felt refresh and cleaner after using that side. The other one creates more lather and cleanse out any residual, it also makes my skin smoother and moist. Both sides paired up likely and it provides convenience. No need for two soup dishes or savers. The price is really high for one single soap bar, but it is 2 soap bars in 1. The price is justifiable and reasonable, it depends on who you are presenting to. It definitely make for people who likes product of France or prefer multi-functionality and top quality over money. And it will also make a great gift to spoil our love ones on special occasions. It is as simple as a soap, but it can still make a good gift because it comes with thoughts and design.
