Great tool but be patient.

I've been using the Aopvui At-Home IPL Hair Removal device for a little over a month. I like the convenience of the device. It is simple and quick to use. It comes with good instructions that go into detail on how often to use it and when to taper down the usage.I did find that it worked much quicker on some of the fine air and took longer to see results on the more coarse hair. So if you are using it and not seeing results, keep trying it will happen. Just be patient and consistent. I find that it takes me about 5 minutes on the days that I use it.Do make sure that I use the safety glasses with it as the light is super bright.

The product is very exquisite, The appearance is very beautiful. Very light and compact in the hand, easy to use. The price is also very favorable. Looking forward to the next use effects and feelings.

First, I have PCOS, I've had laser hair removal and that was WELL worth it, but years later some of the hairs are coming back, I have a lifetime deal where I can get my chin or side burns done for 75$, but I have to make an appointment and then drive 30 minutes from home, get stuck in traffic etc, so I have this a try. 3 stars bc it does slow and seem to somewhat reduce hair growth, I use it on 9 once a week and hit each spot twice. I took two stars off bc I think if you have hirsutism and you think this will do it ..I doubt it. I personally don't think this is painful. For me it was worth it, bought it on sale and I'm happy to stay home. Also this would take all day. If you were doing a large area I think lol, there's always a pause after every click of about 6-7 seconds

UPDATE: A customer service representative reached out to me about my experience with this device, and was very helpful in offering to troubleshoot potential user error issues that might have impacted my experience, and learn more about the particular problems I ran into so that my concerns can be looked into for the safety and user experience of this product in the future. They offered to either replace or refund my purchase, and though I chose to have it refunded, I was very impressed with their communication and focus on customer satisfaction. I have not experienced that level of commitment with Amazon sellers in the past, so I updated my review to express the value I put on that dedication they demonstrated.I was interested in trying out an inexpensive at-home permanent hair removal device before turning to a professional, but did not find this particular device to be a miracle.It is easy enough to use, but I found it takes a bit of a knack and flexibility to reach everywhere one might want to use it. Once you've figured that part out, it is a bit of a challenge maintaining the schedule necessary for results - I'd be good about it for a week or two, and then something would come up that got me off of the routine, and I'd start over a while later. This is not the fault of the device, just a reality I ran into using it myself.However, the device did have some issues that didn't impress me. First, the auto-on setting was unreliable, and it seemed like the device didn't always respond the way I expected based on the instructions, but I made due, and that wasn't a big deal. Unfortunately, the final time I used it, the cooling fan just stopped working entirely, and I gave myself two minor burns on very sensitive skin. Luckily, all functionality of the device then just abruptly ended, which was probably for the best.I guess I'm going to a professional!
