Thought I'd try this as I normally use the ring solar panels for my cameras and I've got to say this works just as good as them but without the price tag I wished I'd had tried it earlier and I could have saved money as I have 6 outdoor camera's.

I bought this to power a Ring stick up cam on the rear of my home, which has a south facing garden & loads of sun. As we are always in and out that way, it is a busy camera & the standard battery doesn't last very long. I connected one of these devices to my stick up cam, expecting it to keep the battery topped up to a reasonable level, but it didn't. I am aware that these solar devices will never keep the battery at 100%, but this device didn't even keep it at 20%, and the camera started to go in to shut down mode due to low battery power, despite the ring app recognising that the cam was connected to a solar device. I swapped the battery for a brand new one, just to check that it wasn't that at fault, and the same thing happened again. If you have a busy stick up cam, you need mains power, which is what I have ended up doing.

Pleasantly surprised at how powerful these little panels are. I have 5 RING stickup battery cameras, all now powered by their own solar panels and they are all reporting 100% charge. One camera is in a particularly busy location so recording a lot, but never seen the battery drop below 92% and it didn’t stay there for long once the sun was on the panel.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a Spotlight Camera and I always have to change the battery which is not very convenient. Got this solar panel to change it. It can charge it continuously, bot sure how well would that be for the battery's life but we'll see.The solar panel won't be able to change a fully discharged battery so make sure the battery is charged.Panel size ups to 195×169mm makes it create 6W outputs. It can offer more enough power for your cameras. Built in with 6 Meters charging cable.IP65 Weatherproof. The solar panel is made of durable and weatherproof PVC material which makes it perfect for outside use.The only thing I didn't like is that the plug on the solar panel doesn't have the two screws which keeps it in place on the back on the spotlight.However I don't think the plug will come out that easy but it would've been good to have especially in UK where is raining all the time.

Very easy to install and connect and have kept the cameras charged even through the winter.

Unfortunately I purchased 3 of these for my 3 Ring stick up battery cameras! My batteries were all between 80% and 90% charged when I connected each Solar panel. The App then immediately showed 100% battery on all three cameras, this continued even after a few days, and in the morning! I then disconnected the cameras and found the batteries had depleted about 10% further. I contacted the seller via messaging and got no reply. The matter was then taken up with Amazon whom assisted immediately.
