This was my second time buying these. I've looked at other knife covers and just don't like others as much. We appreciate the versatility of these, and they're well made and last forever. We bought more because we have more knives, not because they wore out. The old ones are still going strong.

Bought this for a few knives I keep in a drawer but the draw they reside in is not deep enough to be kept in a knife holder that goes inside a drawer as it requires the knives to be stored vertically. So this was the next best thing in that I can protect the edge while they lay on their side in said drawer, which also stores other items as well. They come in various lengths for various knives and I use one for my butchers knife and a cheap Santaku knife and I think that's it. Works well I might add.

These guards are transparent, so it is easy to find the knife you want. The knife slips easily into the guard and does not require strenuous effort to pull the knife out. The colors also help to locate the desired knife. Love these and bought a second set, after sending back a different set that I did not like at all.

I live in a small house with not much space. We’ve crammed knives in drawers. I recently got nicer knives I want to protect.

Storing our kitchen knives in a knife block or on a magnetic wall holder just wasn't a feasible option for us. Multiple knife blocks or a wall of knives wasn't the style statement we wanted. However, keeping our knives in a couple of drawers with dividers was also problematic. Accidentally nicking ourselves or the blades was commonplace. We decided that blade guards for all of our kitchen knives was the answer. Our most expensive knives came with sheaths or guards, but to buy like quality guards ($5 - $20 each) for all of our knives was cost prohibitive. At just under $8.00 per set, we purchased two five piece Ergo Chef Universal Knife Edge Guard Sets. The Ergo guards are sturdy and accomplish their prime task. However, due to their slick surface (especially when wet) extra care is required when applying and removing the guard from a blade. That aside, Ergo knife guards are worth consideration and we will be purchasing more.

Sturdy and very protective! Love the colors as they help you remember which knife to grab from the drawer without rummaging thru everything.

These are great knife guards. They fit tight, and are tough, thick plastic. They come in sufficiently differing sizes to protect all of your good knives from damage while rattling around in the knife drawer. They also protect your hands from cuts when reaching into said drawer. I recommend ordering two sets if you have a good many knives, as I do. Only one drawback, the largest of these covers is still a bit short for a standard chef's knife. Otherwise, they are excellent.

Really like these knife guards. Good quality and easy to slip on and off. Great to protect your knives and also your fingers.
