This is garbage. Maybe it works but it is very difficult to set up, and would require you to change your router settings, It only takes 2.5 not 5 Ghz and requires you to change your router settings. All of this for a camera that comes with English instructions that are poorly written. This is not worth the time. I wish I had not purchased it, but at $25 I did not keep the box and it is more hassle returning than just throwing away. It gets very hot just messing with it. I could not get it to record anything at all.I don't do online reviews, and I have never done a video. I KNOW the video stinks but I tried. You are suppose to be able to connect this camera to your home wifi, but it did not want to connect, and you have to change your home wifi settings to make the camera work. This was not worth it. I was only directly connected to it and not through the home wifi.

This camera is nice and small and it is the bare minimim needed to work so that you can hide this camera wherever you like. It is small and cam be unnoticeable if you rig it right. It has the technology to view over wifi. Very awesome and impressed of the small size and capability.That being said this is not 720p the quality ove the video feed is horrible. Mainly the framerate per seconds fluctuates so much for some reason 1 - 10 fps. Very low frame rate that you could miss something important or get a blurry picture rendering this device almost useless.I am not sure what you could use this for realistically as it you would use this to spy on someone the frame rate is unreliable.It is 3 stars for technology and size yet poor video quality and framerate.

It's a good camera but the battery life is horrible. I only get a 2 hours video. Also, there's a lack of information of the product from the manuel. It gives no indication if it's fully charge nor if it's charging! The Manuel just says it should be charged for 2 to 3 hours. I would recommend getting a back up battery for this mini camera. Although the set up is some what easy. The picture quality is descent at best. It's not 1080 p which it doesn't claim to be but there a lag on the video. I would highly consider a back up battery.

Delicate wire ribbon broke easily and I returned product with a full refund. Otherwise it worked after following directions. Resolution is poor as advertised 420? And connection was spotty but it was so tiny and could be hidden almost anywhere but will require plugged in power if used as surveillance or as a spy cam when not at home so plan location accordingly. Camera literally smaller than a shirt button and all black wire running to body/battery is flat as paper and the size of a flat rubber band and the body/battery bank the size of a standard matchbook or travel size aspirin packet. Smallest camera I've ever seen. Saw this same camera in a spy shop in Vegas for $300 which made me laugh. Its worth the Amazon price.

FREDI Wifi Hidden Spy Camera 720P Wifi Wireless Nanny Cam Mini Home Convert Security Secret Camera I received and tested this Mini WiFi Camera today (September 7, 2017) and was disappointed that it is NOT a 720P HD resolution camera as advertised. Indeed, the Instructions Sheet specifies it is only 640x480 VGA, which drops to only 320x240 QVGA over WiFi remote network transmission. Furthermore, it transmits video at only 10 ±5 frames per second, which means the video is SLOW and JERKY (verified by actual testing). There is no audio capability. The BVCAM App only supports the camera on smartphones. Apparently, there is no software available to monitor or record video on a PC running the Windows 10 Operating System. Unfortunately, this camera system is not satisfactory for my needs.

Quality is garbage. All though I was able to connect flawlessly via the app listed in the instructions, still managed to receive a totally different item that's listed on this post... or at least it seems different, compared to what is being advertised. there's more to the package that is shown in the images. Camera shoots at a 5-8 FPS. I need flawless video, this cuts up too much. Probably will never use it, it will sit collecting dust. Wasted money, Do not buy of any you are smart.

Really terrible image. If you can even call it an image. I tried it in bright light and low light and the image was the same in both. Incredibly grainy and impossible to make out anything. I returned it.

bought 2 cameras this being the second one..1.wifi doesnt work as it needs to2. camera quality is not usable3. motion detection doesnt work and doesnt record4. nothing works in order to use it as intendedwoud i buy this again? no way ever ever again.
