12V DC 120mm Quiet Cooling Fan Silent, Variable Speed Control by 5V to 12V Input, Dual Ball Bearings 3 Pin for PC Computer Case, Home Theater Cabinet, Receiver DVR Xbox, Incubator

This fan really is as quiet as promised. I rigged up a bracket to attach it to a dehumidifier to circulate air over the humidity sensor, to improve performance and decrease run time. The fan ran 24-7 for 6 months last summer, and was just as quiet at the end as it was at the beginning. The fan I was using before had a high-pitched whine that was super annoying, but I can't even tell this one is running unless I'm right next to it. Will probably get 1-2 more to reduce noise and vibration on a desktop computer.

Works great I use it for my Rv fridge to help push air thru refrigerator coils . A little load but works well.

I am retrofitting an older case with an updated motherboard and decided along the way that it needed 3 new fans, too. Did some searching and settled on these. They showed up quickly, seem very solid, have a nice cover to go on the inside so no one (me!) sticks a finger or anything in them while they're running. I have a fan controller and they all seem to play nicely together. Very happy with this choice!!

I am somewhat disappointed in this fan. It is advertised as being variable speed depending on the voltage. Input voltage between 5v-12v. I had hoped to be able to control the speed of this fan using a PWM controller. I realize this is not the intended use for this fan, because the PWM controller does not actually vary the voltage but rather the duty cycle of the negative lead. but I was hopeful because another reviewer stated he was using his in this manner.It did not work. In fact I had to turn the POT on the controller all the way up before the fan would move at all. Turning down the POT even slightly and the fan shuts off.I'm not going to give the fan a low mark because it did not function as I had hoped, because I understand it was never intended to be used in this fashion. I will say the fan is very quiet and seems to push a fair amount of air. But I will probably be sending it back because it doesn't function any differently than the fan I'd hoped to be replacing.

This fan is really quiet - so much so that other ambient noise in my home office masked the fan, even at full speed. I'm using it to cool a ham radio transmitter and it moves a lot of air.

This fan stopped working after a short time.

Very quiet. Had to look to make sure it was running. Easy install.

Used in our RV van as a exhaust fan close to the burner. More blades than the one we replaced it with and quieter and working well.
