Absorbine Hooflex Equine Thrush Remedy 12oz, White (428455)

Our rescue horse had chronic deep central clefts due to thrush. It was painful and caused the horse's hoof to land toe first. After months of attempts with other products, we found Hooflex on Amazon. Cleaning the cleft daily and applying Hooflex with a syringe, removed the thrush with in days. The cleft depth started to improve within a week or so. Once the cleft depths reached normal conditions, I began cleaning the cleft daily and apply Hooflex a few times a week. There has been no recurrence of thrush or damage to the central clefts.Using the syringe enables targeted application and reduces the amount of product required to treat the area making this a very affordable solution. A bottle lasts months.

I’ve had horses close to 40 years now and throughout the years I have dealt with every anomaly that these animals can acquire. We live in Northern California currently and wet ground and muddy pastures are common. Thrush is somewhat common. This particular product is very easy to handle, does not stain, and has just a bit of viscosity to it so that it does not run free which would lead to over using the product. This product keeps my horses, and donkeys, thrush free in a somewhat damp and wet climate.

This treatment has really helped my horse's feet. He foundered in August and also had a bad case of thrush from so much wet weather. I tried my regular treatment that helped, but didn't make much head way. I read the good reviews and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. After just one week, He's running around the pasture again. I'm ordering some more today.

Love love love this product... took care of the horrible thrush in my 2 year old Arabs feet within 3 days. he has really deep grooves, and the thrush would simply not go away, not even with copper tox being applied daily. I now just apply it twice a week to prevent more thrush, and he hasn't had a problem since! and a plus... IT'S COLORLESS. NO MORE BRIGHT GREEN OR PURPLE STAINS

I recommend Hooflex Equine Thrush Remedy because it works. You get a lot for the price. It's not sticky, nor does it stain your clothes. However, there is a garlic sent that is not pleasant. The thrush I treated was gone in less than a week. This is a highly effective product. (4 stars instead of 5 because of the smell)

28 inches of rain in past 6 months! Lifetime horse owner here. I have tried it all from the purple ones to diluted bleach (old days) and even Tomorrow Paste. This is by far the best thrush and white line treatment I have ever used. I will never go back to the purple stuff and that mess. No staining, no strong odor. 50+ years experience and I recommend this.

My horse is always prone to thrush with the mud in our area. Whenever I see he's starting to get thrush, I put some of this on and see a difference in just a day. Even when the thrush is more concerning, applying this for a few days in a row works. I also like that this doesn't stain or smell. It's very easy to apply. Even though it's a pretty thin liquid, enough of it will get where it needs to in order to do its job.

MY gelding had a bad case of thrush. I used two other products before I used Absorbine Hooflex Thrush Remedy with little to now effect on destroying the bacteria. Since using Absorbine Hooflex Thrush Remedy all but one location is clear of thrush. I continue tow treat the last bit of bacteria with the thrush remedy. I am confident the last of it will be cleared up in the week. It is in a plastic bottle with a tip applicator for easy application,. I noticed it is slightly thicker when pouring than other thrush applications I used; not gel like nor is it water like.

Mein Pferd hatte dieses Jahr massiv mit Strahlfäule zu kämpfen. Im Wechsel mit Wasserstoffperoxid hat dieses Mittel sehr gut geholfen. So gut, dass mein Schmied es sich sogar für anderen Kunden abfotografiert hat.Einziges Minus: der Verschluss könnte besser sein. Bei der ersten Lieferung war er gar nicht dabei und bei der neuen Flasche ist er so locker, dass er jetzt verloren gegangen ist.

Hat uns bei sehr schlechtem Hufstrahl enorm gut geholfen! Der Strahl ist nach wenigen Tagen deutlich besser geworden und es war deutlich zu erkennen, dass sich der Huf erholt hat.Man darf natürlich keine Wunder erwarten, denn das Hufmaterial muss ja erst einmal gesund nachwachsen. Wir haben uns durch den Tip unserer Hufpflegerin immer ein kleines Stück Verbandsmull in den Hufstrahl gedrückt und dieses mit dem Hooflex getränkt. Das funktioniert super um auch die kleinsten Taschen zu erreichen, da der Mull den Strahl ein klein wenig weitet und so das Produkt wirklich überall hin kann.Die Pflege ist sehr ergiebig. Wir kommen ewig mit einer Flasche hin. Die Spritztülle braucht man nur minimal aufschneiden, dass reicht um genug heraus zu bekommen. Es verteilt sich sehr gut und ist recht flüssig.Ich konnte keinerlei negative Reaktion bei meinem Wallach beobachten, es scheint nicht zu brennen.Ich würde dieses Mittel immer wieder kaufen, es ist bereits die 2. Flasche.

Das Produkt ist einfach anzuwenden und nach nur 2 Anwendungen hat sich schon eine deutliche Verbesserung gezeigt. Ich bin begeistert und kann es nur empfehlen.

und das ist schon ein Erfolg! Denn nach dem ich etliche verschiedene Mittelchen getestet habe (einige über einen lange Zeitraum) war ich fast schon dabei, es aufzugeben (Altes Pferd ohne Lahmheit, da ist es dann halt so...)Meine neue Hufpflegerin hat dann dieses Produkt erwähnt und ich hab noch einen letzten Versuch gestartet. Jeden Tag mit Seifenwasser den Strahl sauber gemacht (incl. aller Risse), dann das Mittel und Tamponage drauf.Nach ein paar Tagen hatte ich dann eine (zwar kleine, da bei uns schon fortgeschrittene Erkrankung) Besserung, schneller und mehr als bei anderen Mitteln. Ich vermute dass es auch zusätzlich ein Strahlpilz bei uns ist, bei dem die anderen Desinfektionsmittel nicht wirken konnten. Dieses Produkt ist auch gegen Pilze.Die Behandlung habe ich, wegen dem nassen Wetter unterbrochen, aber sobald es trocken ist, werde ich mit dem Produkt weiter machen.(Noch was: ich denke es kann bei schwächeren Symptomen bestimmt sehr ergiebig sein, nur ich spare nicht bei meinem Pferd, und habe in 1,5 Wochen so ca. 1/3 der Flasche weg)

Hilft bei Strahlfäule und ist sehr gut um bei matschigen Ausläufen einen erneuten Strahlfäuleausbruch zu verhindern. Es ist sehr leicht und sauber auf dem Huf aufzutragen. Ich verwende es hauptsächlich vorbeugend und bei leichter Strahlfäule. Bei sehr starker Starhlfäule greife ich lieber auf Kevin Bacons Hoof Solution zurück, da ich das Gefühl habe, dass das schneller wirkt, obwohl ich es von der Handhabung her nicht so gerne mag (man bekommt schnell klebrige Finger)
