I figured saving a few bucks would cause me some kind of functional problem. Not so fast! This filter is awesome! It immediately eliminated the smell from my exhaust outside the home. Replacement for a certain name brand. Even from the packaging it came in you can tell it's on par or not even better. Will buy again.

Great filter, a little messy opening as the charcoal has unsettled during shipping. Wear gloves and open outside or over newspaper to avoid getting charcoal everywhere. With that said even though it cleary states the weight I never realized how heavy 5 lbs. can be.But the filter fits fine and does a great job in my 2x4x72 inch grow tent.

I have this at the end of a inline fan that pulls in the cool winter air to keep my datacenter cool in the winter with out running the A/C. Works great at filtering out camp fire smoke and everything else outside. Very happy with it.
