Walking Red Flag: A Small Town Romantic Comedy (Ocean View Series) Paperback – June 22, 2022

I was already sold but when the FMC started talking about her love of romance and fantasy books I was done for.“Each of them let me get lost and turn off my brain. Live in happily ever afters and watch the drama unfold and then wrap up neatly, unlike the real world.”This character means the world to me. I related to her on so many levels but the wandering mind and a MMC who doesn’t “fix” her but reassures her she’s not broken. Beautiful, fun, spicy book.

I finished this book in one sitting, really love the way this author writes. Gabi, she is one of my favorite FMC’s that I’ve read lately. She is quirky, passionate, stubborn and hilarious. Vic is what Gabi and Cassie like to call a Hot Doctor. He’s tall, dark and handsome, knows how to talk dirty and loves how Gabi’s brain works. That’s one of the things I loved the most- she has ADHD and had been told a lot how she was annoying when her mind would wonder from a conversation and then come back with some type of question, but not Vic. He was fascinated by the way her brain worked, he challenged her to stop thinking badly of herself. Their connection was palpable. The third act breakup wasn’t even bad- lasted all of a few days.I’m hoping Gabi’s brothers get books as well, especially curious after the epilogue.

Ended up skimming about 30% of the book because it started to get repetitious Like, how many times do we have to hear about how many brothers the FMC has?Do we really need a 7 page breakdown of the scene that happened right before the talk with the friend?How many times do we have to hear the same inner monologue?I feel like there was a plot, but it was thin due to the same information getting recycled.

A sweet rom com feel with the perfect about of spiciness to make you blush while reading! HEA and no other woman drama!

The formatting was so much better in this book. Love Gabi’s story. She is actually relatable. I actually had a good laugh while reading. Spice was 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

This book was awesome. It's a standalone, but I'm glad that I read Book 1 first since we meet Gabbie in that one and its plot helps with this one.It's so nice to find a virgin FMC who isn't a teenager, hopelessly naive, or wrapped up in religion!Vic is basically catnip. He's tall, dark, and handsome, an ER doctor, and totally unwilling to settle down until he lays eyes on Gabbie.The good doctor agrees to help the lady with her condition. Ahem. And those scenes are steamy, wonderful, with exceptional dirty talk.It helps that both characters are genuinely nice and likeable. While the black moment in this romance isn't as insurmountable as it usually feels in other stories, the low angst helps this book remain sweet.

I liked this book better than the first. Insta love is always a bit *eye roll* to me. Vic was weirdly sweet from the very first moment he met Gabi, which was a bit far-fetched, but I went with it. Gabi seemed a lot different from how she was portrayed in the first book, where she was pretty one dimensional.The sexual tension was there, the spice was there, and it was pretty sweet in a lot of moments.Bonus points since I didn't notice glaring errors missed in editing!

Very good book! Loving this series! A must read for everyone who likes a bit of spice in their life!

I really enjoyed gabi and Vic's story. It was spicy and sexy and adorable all at once.The one thing that threw me off though, was when Gabi's nephews switched names and ages. In one chapter, the younger one is Gino and the next time we see them, the younger one is Nicky.

It's a cute romance story, easy to read and wholesome. If you hate the dumb misunderstandings... You'll love this story.

Morgan writes the sweetest characters. I swear every MMC is perfect. Charming, sexy and caring. Gabi is fantastic, as someone with ADHD I felt deeply for her and her journey. It's a great story full of fun, love and 🔥.

Vic is really an amazing character..And the leasons scene are awesome...I love how the mental health representation was done with gabi

I love Gabi and Vic so much, I would say they're tied with Cassie and Luke for my fav couple but honestly would need to reread Springbrook and Ocean view again in a back to back setting to pick a fave couple. I know I wont be able to pick though, they each have something of their own.
