I love this Doctoral Graduation Tam. It is just what I needed as my school requires that I use a tassel with the school emblem, so I needed a tam without the regular gold tassel already glued or sewn onto the tam. I am grateful that this company understands that some doctoral grads need to have the tam without the tassel! Thank you for that! A button is included on top of the tam to attach your own tassel. This really solved a problem for me and now I am all set for my fall semester graduation! Oh by the way, it fits well and is lined inside and is adjustable with a velcro attachment. It is a high quality tam. Don't miss out on this one!

My previous tam never fit correctly; this one does. The Velcro sizing is fine for an average-sized head. The velvet holds its corners yet is properly soft; the tam is well sewn and nicely lined. I’m quite pleased to have found a solution that allowed me to keep my original tassel!Note that while this item has no tassel attached, it does come with a rivet at the center of the tam. If you are hanging a tassel from it – you will be all set. If you want to permanently attach a doctoral tassel… It will require a bit of surgery to remove the rivet, which was quite securely attached.
