Unlike typical grocery store honey that is syrupy. I had this kind of honey in Chile recently which was the impetus behind my purchase. It’s creamy and almost like caramel. It’s pricey but really can’t compare to most honey you’d buy locally. Really delicious in tea and hard to resist just eating with a spoon. You get what you pay for and this is not native to the US.

Fabulous product! This delish nectar came in a custom box with floral design logo - so beautiful I was afraid to unwrap it! LOL! The Large Jar was cushioned between 2 cardboard braces so it wouldn't break! GENIUS! and GRACIAS Reina Madre/ Queen Mother! It was completely hard when I opened the jar -but I soaked it in a pan of hot water for 20 min and it started to melt. I also - placed it in the micro for 30seconds so it is liquid again. ULMO is my fave honey - it offers a unique taste...not as sweet but rather smoky edge (almost like a smoked bourbon whiskey!) AHH! 100% DELISH!!! I would purchase this brand again- 110% satisfied! Good quality honey with a distinct flavor and aroma. The taste was multilayered and interesting with a pleasant aftertaste. It required gentle warming to adjust the texture that I would characterize as very average. It’s fairly priced and an ok value

Would buy more if priced less... unique smokey taste

Was looking forward to getting this and trying it out.Box was sealed well but not the jar, the lid was on crooked when I got it out of the box and the tamper indicator was popped, of course. Product is pretty dried out and apparently I can't do anything about it because it is not eligible to return or refund, or anything. Oh, well, definitely not wasting another $18.00.
