If you can beat this deal you'd be a fool not to buy it...
Wasn't really expecting much considering the price, but I was wanting to reduce the amount of devices I had on WiFi, and get better speeds out of most of my equipment since I had upgraded to gigabit internet. Didn't have the time or cash to have it wired professionally, or to buy bulk materials to do it myself. I just wanted it quick, and effective, and aesthetics had to take the hit. Ordered a pack of 5 100' cat 6 cables, and while kind of generic looking to be sure, they do work. Cables are thick, and obviously hefty. The RJ45 connectors look to be put on well enough. The main thing is that I have between 925 to 990 MBPS coming in from my fiber connection to the ISP, and everything hooked into the home network or high speed hubs I have runs at those speeds, most of the time. I do have occasional dips in speed, but that is not due to the cables, since they have all shown they can pass along those speeds, and my testing shows that the speed variations are from the ISP side of things, not a fault in the home network. So, bottom line is; I'm positive that you can buy better cables, but unless you need better than gigabit speeds, and these could PROBABLY do better than that, if I had better than that, I have no way to tell, then aside from buying cable to potentially guarantee future compatibility with 10 Gig+ speeds, then you are just throwing money at having fancy cables for nothing. The only downside I have for the package deal I got, is that they only sold a batch of 5 100 foot cables. I would have been very happy to have been able to get 2 or 3 100's, and then a mix of 50', and 25' cables for another $10 or so. Are you listening Cables Direct? Anyway, I will update this if there is anything worthy of reporting, but as it stands, I can recommend Cables Direct as a good outfit to do business with.

Seems to have significantly reduced Ethernet noise errors and passes voltage for cameras without loss.
My IP cameras have been getting slow responses. And, one of my PTZ IP cameras had been giving me intermittent problems. I just didn't trust the 50ft Chinese made CAT5 cable I was using with a temporary 20ft extension. I couldn't tell how much dB loss that extension might be causing. And, I previously had some problems with the cable breaking from the RJ45 connector after being pulled through the attic. I am also using power splitters on each end of the cable so that I can power the cameras remotely from the switch. I think that was contributing to some voltage loss over distance. I finally decided to upgrade to a better cable, preferably without paying unreasonable prices. I immediately liked the KabelDirekt cable for it's ruggedness. At 75ft my camera responded immediately using the CabelDirekt cable and continues to do so even though I suspect noise on my other cables. I know from previous experience that Ethernet protocols possess no real error correction, but it continues to be the standard because of improvements in cable quality. The ratios between cable distance, higher and higher needs for speed, and the lack of error correction, have placed the burden of keeping up with technology on cable quality. And that's particularly true on crowded local area networks. My IP cameras cause a lot of packet traffic, and that means a lot of packet collisions when using noisy unshielded cables. I haven't always adhered to cable quality with my other cables and have suffered with video issues as a result. If this camera continues to respond well using this cable I will likely replace all of my Chinese cables with KabelDirekt in the future. I only rated this with 4 stars for now based on first impressions and until I can upgrade all my cables and get an overall picture of my network improvements and functionality. My guess is that it will be worth a 5 star rating.

Total game changer
Hi, as a gamer I know just how important internet speed is for competitive gaming, without a stable internet connection, it's next to impossible to compete at a high level, or any level honestly. And since my router is about 70 feet away from my gaming computer, my internet was horrendous, so I was looking for a faster internet connection.I took a look at all of my options and ended up deciding to get an ethernet cable long enough to reach my computer.I was worried at first that since the cable was so long it not be as fast as I wanted, but my worries quickly disappeared as my internet speed went from 10 Mbps upload and 1 Mbps download to 110 Mbps upload and 7 Mbps download. This has completely changed my gaming experience, I went from silver to platinum in overwatch within days of receiving the cable, I even can't remember the last time I had any internet lag in any of my games! The cable is so good I'm considering buying another one for my brother, it's only 10$ which is a steal for the value it provides!

KabelDirekt did the trick for my IP cameras setup
Purchased a bunch of different length cables from KabelDireckt for my IP camera project ( 1x 100ft , 4x 50ft, and 2x 25 ft ) Tested them all first and was amazed that even the 100ft cable was right there and getting the full download speed from my cable internet. To tell you the truth I beat the hell out of the 100ft cable pulling it from 2nd floor up to the attic, down the chase, across the basement, out through the wall to the attached garage, to the network switch where it spread out up into the garage attic to the eaves with the smaller length cables where my 4 IP cameras are. Let me tell you I was worried after looking what I had done to it that there was no way it way working. Hooked up my laptop connected and BAMM full download speed still. I am not saying these cables are invincible but I am surely impressed with the speed and durability so far. I would highly recommend purchase and the nice little touch of included labeling strips was very helpful in keeping straight which cable was which as I routed them through the house and garage. The only thing I would recommend is that you pre lay them out in a warm environment prior to running them to loosen up the coiling that occurs from being packaged. I went straight up to the wintertime 30 degree attic which is why the 100 footer took some damage as it was still uncoiling in a cold environment. Can't beat them for the price for performance.

The Ethernet patch cables were as described and shipped in a timely manner.
Cables are ROHS compliant. Not clear to me if the cables are TIA/EIA verified. They have a UL AWM rating and the manufacturers website has limited technical data. I would have liked to see a UL CM, CMR or CMP rating in addition to the AWM rating. This would allow me a more flexibility in how the cables can be used.Other types of KabelDirekt cables are UL CM rated.Europe seems to focus materials used in the cable and the US focuses on flame retardant properties. At the end of the day it's the location where it's used. The cables appear to be good quality, but, it is impossible to know for sure, without appropriate verification and labels.Your installation requirements may require more verification or certifications. Belden, Commscope, Berk-Tek, Superior Essex and General Cable are some well known manufacturers. Normally a truckload of verification's, labels and very detailed specifications for the most discerning enterprise. The problem is certifications are expensive to obtain and that makes the cables expensive. However, you may sleep better knowing all the boxes have been checked.UL AWM Rating quote:"1.2 The appliance wiring material covered by the requirements of this Standard are solely for use as factory-installed wiring either within the overall enclosure of appliances and other equipment (internal wiring) or as external interconnecting cable for appliances (external wiring), or for further processing as components in multi-conductor cables.1.3 These requirements do not cover any wire, cable, or cord types that are presently covered in the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70, and are not intended for installation in buildings or structures in accordance with the NEC except within the scope of the installation instructions of the end-product for which their use is intended."I could not find KabelDirekt listed in the UL databases I searched through. E255388 AWM 2835 were printed on the cables. A UL search returned AOMAGA (ZHONGSHAN) ELECTRONIC & PLASTIC CO LTD (E255388). Style 2835 Multiple-Conductor Cable Using Extruded Non-Integral Jacket. Standard Appliance Wiring Material UL 758. Notes of interest: Use No. 2A:, Internal wiring in Class 2 circuits of electronic equipment where not routed along walls, floors, or other abuse areas.; Use No. 2B:, CABLES - using 30 mils or greater jacket thickness only: External interconnection or internal wiring in Class 2 circuits.

Connects HIFI from Bluesound to high end Amplifier via internet streaming.
I needed a solid and shielded internet cable to connect my Bluesound streamer to the internet. I have bought KabelDirekt RCA cables and speaker cables. They are well priced to perfection. They are a german company with a long track record. This shielded pair is worth the price and more. Connection is solid with well engineered connectors. You really need to try this.
