Useless 1st-grader book to learn how to write. Nothing to do with Bible journaling.
Aside from 2 pages of doodles to trace which don’t have much to do with Christian prayers, the rest of the book is dedicated to practicing cursive letters pages as if in 1st grade primary school. The paper is cheap, harsh, so using markers to practice letters as suggested will destroy the nibs. And what has writing the letter “a”, then “b”, then ... on each page anything to do with Bible journaling?! If I had wanted to learn lettering I would have bought a calligraphy set. And a better one at that.

Would Recommend!!
Overall, I love this beginners guide for bible journaling! This guide is both good for kids and adults! I love the projects that were designed, because of the range of fonts and art used. The fonts chosen, are fantastic, along with the practice pages. Would recommend to both who do Bible and bullet journaling!

Not a good one for learning anything about bible journaling
Not a good one for learning anything about bible journaling. It’s more of a book where you can learn to write the alphabet.

Love, Pray
Talk about basic.....Loads of pages showing you how to draw letters of the alphabet - almost assuming you don't know how to write basic lettering. It is just like when you are learning the alphabet. There is one letter to a line with the idea that you need a whole line on two pages to practice writing a single letter. What's worse is they do this multiple times and for both uppercase and lower case and for printing and then cursive letters. This makes up the majority of the book. They do have 3 pages of "doodles" you can "trace". However, these are quite light and then there is one where it is printed back to back with the other page. These "doodles" you could come up with on your own, there is nothing special about them. Then there are 21 pages of just one word (Peace, Love, Pray, etc) but these are not elaborate or fancy in any way, you could write this yourself without the book and get the same results. Then there are 10 pages of "Project" which consists of a phrase, mostly of just words. A couple have a design: example: they made a sun and then wrote the words inside it. (I could do this without this book). There are no inspiring or clever designs in this book at all, the few they give you are bad. A total waste of money. I wouldn't even give this to an elementary age child. I will probably send it back because it bothers me even looking at it.
