Yale Alarmed Electronic Safe Medium – Standard Protection, Built-in 130dB Alarm, PIN Keypad + Override Key, Anti-bump Solenoid, Auto Lockdown, Carpeted Interior, Fixings Included – 6.6L – YEC/250/DB2

Easy to set up and secure. Looks really solid ,good quality. Good size for valuables.

Brought this for the mother-in-law as we found she was saving her money in a tin on a shelf in the kitchen. She had her OAP pension and the farther in laws pension each week and she puts his away in this tin and has done since he passed just over two years ago, so you could guess how much she had in the tin. Tried to get her to put it in a bank, but she’s worried they may lose it or the government will take it from her. (Since Rachel Reeve became Chancellor I agree with her) Good product for securing papers, bills and bank cards. The dimensions are correct and the handling is easy. Changing the code is very easy. Easy fix to a wall.

Unreliable keypad on this model. After 18 months seldom use the keypad has stopped working. I have replaced the batteries several times, reset the safe and tested it a few times with the safe empty just to check it worked. However, after trying it again sometime later it bleeped after the first number only then stopped working! Annoying is not the word for it after only 18 months. I tried replacing the batteries again but the same issue occurred. I have emailed Yale and await their response. I’ll stick to key operated safes in future and not a Yale one!

Perfect size! Laptop fits too, bonus. I’ve not attached it to the wall/floor yet, will see if I need to. However, the fixings provided look sturdy enough to hold, I suppose it will depend on my walls though! Easy to set combination and I managed to do it without locking the override keys in the safe, another bonus - well done me! Product itself arrived in a good condition - I was concerned from viewing some reviews where the safe has arrived dented etc. Value for money I’d say.

Quite a handy little safe, but fairly thin walled and I suspect it wouldn't take long for a crook with an angle grinder long to get in, but ok if you keep it hidden I suppose. The built in alarm does work, but its really more of a novelty than a valid safety device. Not really any good for protecting your millions, but ok to keep those few valuable knick knacks away from any light fingered friends.

Nice chunky safe with two keys as back up plus 4-6 digit digital lock. Four screw holes in rear and supplied sturdy bolts. Good size for documentation and jewellery.

Fabulous safe

Sturdy and reliable
