Hold the line
Opted for this instead of a 7x more expensive setup. The pad works but I would not say this is a rapid charger. From my limited experience, this will keep the phone at the level it’s charged to at best. Not a deal breaker, yet, but will continue to monitor.

Super slim and works
I use this in on of the shelves in my car. It's fantastic, it is non slip and the phone just gets dropped on it when I get in the car. Isn't super fast charging, but I didn't expect it to be.I will keep it as long as I have my car. Great product

Easy installing except for 1 thing
I like everything about it but just 1 thing that kind of bumped me out is that it's charging, its charges slower than normal charging devices

Charge is good. Phone must be dead centered.
If the phone is not dead centered on the pad it will not charge. When it does charge it does well.

Maybe not the best solution for a car.
The feature of being able to resize this to the size you want is kind of misleading, you have to cut off a side or two of rubber to do that; it cut fine, but you are never going to get a nice edge to it. It did however fit nicely into the spot I wanted in my car, but I really need a 3 inch cable from there to connect it, having such much bundled up cable doesn’t look great. As far as the charging, it doesn’t work well for me. I plug it into a know good phone charging usb-cigarette lighter adapter but then I place my phone on the mat, it only charges for about 5 seconds then stops, then reconnects a moment later, I am am getting a charging/not charging notice on my device.I did leave it plugged into the charging port in the car overnight once, and the next morning my battery was dead, but I will not blame those directly as there were some other factors going on with my vehicle at the same time. I have also not tested this indoors, with a standard wall power adapter, but I suspect I will get the same result with intermittent charging.

A nice addition to a vehicle
So you will need a QC3.0 compatible charger to get the fast speed of the unit. I picked one up for about $6. I placed the charge pad in the center console of my Explorer and drop the phone on top of it. Having a fairly flat cable, the charge pad was easy to maneuver and route the cable out of sight. I also use Motorola MA1 Wireless Android Auto Car Adapter in the same console, tucked away. This makes the Android Auto experience great with no more wires everywhere. Using the charge pad in conjunction with the wireless adapter is a great combination and I spent less than $100 for the wireless adapter, charge pad and QC3.0 power adapter. I tried to get my wife to do the same with her vehicle but she doesn't understand this is a need, not a want....

Works well for the price.
Works exactly as advertised. The cord is a bit long for my cars but it works well. It would've been nicer to have the option to swap it out for shorter USB cords.
