Jet Creations Inflatable 14" Mars Globe

This is what the picture shows, no surprises. An orange background color, with black printing that shows the highlights of martian topography and features. The northern polar cap is white. Three landing sites are marked, but not the more recent ones. This doesn't show exactly the shading you'd see through a telescope, but it gives the basic lay of the land accurately.

I do a lot of space science teaching at museums and schools. This is the perfect prop when I want to talk about Mars.

It's an inflatable Mars.

My son is autistic and his too major infatuation are the color red and the planet Mars. We all now Mars is referred to as "Red Mars". I was excited to find this individual planet as opposed to having to spend $50.00 for the complete inflatable solar system. He has to "work" for rewards in his behavioral sessions so I am always on the lookout for new things involving the solar systems, specifically Mars. He worked extra hard to earn this present and we were both VERY disappointed to find out this Red Mars was in fact Orange. The disappointment on his face was heartbreaking. People should really research things before creating them.
