Another great Splat product!
I was scared to use as reviews of SIMILAR products talked about how bad they smelled. So I guess I was prepared for the worst. But, this one was not so bad. Package items were designed for use of more than one time, which was needed. So I was very grateful for the different bottles and caps included in kit. I had to use too applications to fade the color, but overall very impressed.

COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY - THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK.
I had my hairdresser use two boxes of this on my pink hair. I used SPLAT to dye it pink approximately 5 months ago. It's grown out about 3 inches at this point and I would like to go back to my natural color. Reading the reviews, I knew removing pink (or red) is questionable with this product and the color did not come out at all. The wash water was slightly pink at first but after that, nothing. I let it sit for 1 hour as instructed. All that this product accomplished was drying out my hair to a straw-like consistency. I doubt my stylist will even try to dye over this tomorrow as it is still the hot pink/orange it was before using this product.

Works, but not in one shot
Bought green splat that was supposed to come out in 30 washes. Hahaha. I have colored my hair so many times with permanent colors and they never hold. Fade out in a matter of days or weeks. So I wasn’t expecting this to last. This color barely faded. I tried everything in the book to try and get this color out of my hair and nothing worked. I had to resort to getting the color remover. Instructions say green is the easiest to remove. While it finally did get the color out I had to do it 4 times!!!! States to wait at least 24 hours before doing it again. I waited several days in between and the last time I did it my hair felt fried like I bleached it. And even still in some lights I can see the slightest hue of green still in my hair. Best bet is to avoid using splat to color your hair all together!!!

Color remover
This worked on getting the arctic fox sunset orange out of my hair. That color did NOT want to fade. Haha. The color remover did leave my hair very dry though, so I suggest doing a deep conditioning treatment after!

The bottle wasn't even full
The bottle says it has 6 oz in it. I was thinking that it was enough to do the other side of my head kind of wondering why the bottle felt so light go to fill it up again and realize that the bottle was empty almost there was nowhere near 6oz more like maybe a little over 3. So since I only had half my head done I had to hurry up and wash it out. will say I started seeing a purple come out already after five minutes but still

Doesn’t work well at all
This product did not do very well in my hair. Before I used Splat hair dye I was platinum blonde. My hair was not bleached Or compromised in any way. This product removed little to none of the splat color from my hair.

Ok but buy more than 1
This did an okay job removing color. My last pink color application was 10 weeks ago and I've been working hard to remove it for about 6 weeks. The product was ready to use though I do not understand the purpose of the application bottle when the bottle it came in was adequate. Product does not cover much area so if you have shoulder length or longer hair/ color that isn't faded you'll need much more than 1 box.The smell when applying is not great but not terrible. The terrible smell comes after you've dried your hair and lasts a few days.It didn't overly damage my hair but also wasn't gentle- however it did lift a decent amount of color and didn't screw up the dye on the rest of the hair.

good product
One has to remember that this is for direct dye, that means reds, blues, etc. So, it won't be good for natural colors. I was trying to remove red and it will take two to three boxes when dealing with red due to the pigments. I use this a lot and I have always been pleased with the results.
