Adjustable Piano Bench with Padded Cushion and Storage Compartment

I bought this bench to replace one that came with my Kawai digital piano which did not adjust. I was worried, based on the price, that this bench would look cheesy, be poorly made, or be difficult to assemble. None of that concern was necessary. It was very easy to assemble even with the included wrench (that wrench isn’t comfortable to use being a simple stamped piece of metal, but you certainly don’t need power tools or even a “real” wrench/ratchet to put this bench together). Like most assemble-yourself furniture, I imagine I’ll have to tighten the bolts in a few months (there’s only four, they’re big, and they’re easy to get to). The pleather seat is MUCH more comfortable than my previous bench and actually not noticeably less comfortable than the artist bench I own from Steinway (which sells for nearly nine times the price). The pleather also looks really nice with even stitching and buttons. The matte finish of the vinyl top contrasts nicely with the high gloss finish of the legs and frame. 2 things are less than perfect: 1. The storage capacity under the seat is minimal as others have noted. It’s about 1 inch deep. However, I only use it for the owner’s manual and accessory cables that go to my digital so that’s really minor. 2. The knobs for adjusting the height of the bench look pretty cheap. They stick out pretty far- think King Charles’ ears- and the plastic they are made of is not aesthetically pleasing. Couldn’t they have been made of wood or metal like other parts of the bench? This is also a minor quibble (I suppose you could replace them if you wanted to) of an otherwise great bang-for-your-buck product. If you need an adjustable bench, this really should be the one you buy.

The good: This bench is beautiful and matches perfectly with my black piano. The seat is comfortable to sit on and adjusts very easily with the knob on the side of the seat. Assembly was fairly easy as well. The not so great: After using this for a few months I've noticed that the bench is starting to wobble. fortunately, I kept the little wrench it came with so I was able to tighten things back up, but it's a little annoying that I have to do that after only two months. Also, the storage space in the bench is TINY. I'm talking MAYBE two piano books could fit, tops. All in all, this was a great purchase and I do recommend this item. It's a beautiful piece in my home :)

I needed an affordable piano bench that I could adjust the height of, and most of the benches I've seen are too low for me. This bench was perfect for my height and quite is sturdy. I weigh around 180lbs and this bench doesn't "sink" in time. It stays at the height you set it to and I've been using it for over 6 months! Here comes the "cons", but they are not deal breakers by any means. It's true, the storage space is nothing to write about. You're looking at about 1 1/2 inch depth so anything thicker than that may not fit. Also, there's not much padding on the bench. It's comfortable enough but you'll get a little sore after sitting for more than 90 minutes. All in all, I would still highly recommend this bench because of what you get for the price.

This bench was packaged very nicely. No blemishes or other issues. All hardware, necessary for assembly, was easily found (including comprehensive instructions.) Assembly was a breeze. Height adjustment works very well. I was concerned that it may be noisy if I attempted to play with it raised, however, it has remained very quiet. It is definitely padded, yet, it’s firm enough to provide support. In turn, this promotes better playing posture - and that’s always a good thing. The only slight issue I have with this bench has to do with the lid mechanism (that locks into place, allowing access to the storage compartment. The mechanism is flimsy. It’s completely functional, but feels fragile. This is not an issue with me as I don’t use the bench storage, I store my music on shelves. I’ve used this bench for lengthy rehearsals and hour-long solo concerts (see photo, it looks great sitting along side my rhinestone grand). I am very impressed and have no regrets in my puschasing this bench.

I feel very comfortable with it, is cheaper than other ones, and is still really good, I’ll full recommend it.

I received this bench today. It’s very easy to set up. It looks very well made, no awful smell. Everything meets my expectation right now. I will see how long this will last. But so far I think it’s great.

A very comfortable bench as I play. So glad I got one that is adjustable! Setting it to the correct height makes playing more fun. I also love the small storage for a few books.

We’ve had this bench for 3 years. For the most part I like it but it has started to show wear. It gets used for maybe 5 hours a week and is not abused. After the first year the covering on one of the buttons fell off. It’s starting to show wear on the legs and where the side stitching is. The knobs used to raise the bench have a cheap plastic feel but they still work fine. The cushion is thin but I never felt the seat was uncomfortable. The seat is sturdy.

Everything about this is satisfactory. Well packed and rock solid even when adjusted high. This was one of the cheaper stools, I bought it because it has storage under the seat and is adjustable. The storage is more than adequate for the keyboard user guide and some music and other odds and ends. Seat cushion is comfortable and assembly takes just a few minutes with the included tool. Has plastic/rubber non slip pads on legs which also protect flooring. Don’t need to pay more for a branded product. Recommended.

Me encantó!! es muy cómodo y se ve de buena calidad para el precio, además es muy bonito ✨ tiempo atrás había comprado uno plegable que era muy inestable en su altura máxima y el soporte de mi piano digital no podía bajar más, asi que era muy incómodo ya que sentía que no estaba a la altura adecuada... pero este nuevo taburete además de cómodo y estable tiene la altura perfecta y aún se puede aumentar!!, estoy demasiado muy satisfecha con esta compra!!

Está muy bonito, es fiel a la imagen y tiene muy buen tamaño. Además, es fácil de armar y se siente resistente. El único detalle que noté fue en el acabado de uno de los costados. Es algo menor, pero dejo foto como referencia, ya que considero que es un punto que podrían tomar en cuenta para mejorar.
