Ghirardelli 60% Cacao Chocolate Chip, 5lb Bag with Ghirardelli Stamped Barista Spoon

These extra tiny chocolate chips are awesome. I don't know why I didn't realize they were smaller than the mini chips you usually see packaged for consumer use. I love baking with these. Not so good for my waistline is that the smell is so alluring---I can't help from eating a few on their own every time I open my container of them. The spoon you get is a nice touch, too. Love the Ghirardelli stamp on it.

The aroma when I opened the bag was absolutely wonderful - the disks are almost completely uniform and fresh. The smell was so enticing, I immediately popped one in my mouth (and instantly regretted it - they are unsweetened after all).I've used them with stevia sweetener and milk to make sugar-free hot chocolate, brownies which were great, and some triple chocolate cookies which were excellent. Hopefully these will last through the winter and I will definitely buy again.

Despite hating to dip chocolate, it is a necessary evil once a year.Chocolate melts well and most importantly tastes great!

Best chocolate for munching and baking. All other brands I've tried are just excessively sweet. This one has the perfect balance for me with a rich chocolate flavor. The seller shipped it in a Styrofoam container with an ice pack during the insane heat of the southwest. It arrived intact and not melted......just barely. It went straight into the freezer. I keep my chocolate there anyways. If you like a rich chocolate flavor, and not excessively sweet, I think you'll enjoy this one.

They are so tiny, it means they melt very fast, and they taste just right. Made hot chocolate with them and some cocoa, it is very good for hot drinks.
