AVENGERS EPIC COLLECTION: ACTS OF VENGEANCE Paperback – March 28, 2023

The 80s are my favorite era of funny books gang!! This book takes the Avengers from the fun loving 80s into the 90s! It’s a fun time and John Byrne is involved one of my favorites even when he seems like he is phoning it in!

I was reading this book when these issues were originally published. I don't know why I liked them. Maybe it was because I was 16 at the time. It starts with a 6 issue Byrne story featuring the lava man, with some hints to the "acts of vengeance" story (150 pages wasted). This story crossed over in to many other titles and I can only assume the most boring parts were, ironically in the Avengers title, I had good memories of the Avengers in the '80s, but I can see why I gave up in the'90s.
