This item is of great quality and I instantly fell in love with the level of detail on it. The mechanism is noiseless and overall appearance is stylish and original. It was pretty easy for me to mount it on the wall. Fair value for the money, clear, bright and readable.

it's dark . it is beautiful. love it. but can't see the hands and hard to see the gears move if the room is a little dark. need to illuminate the gears and hands and it would be perfect.

We enjoy the looks and the gears (that really are just aesthetic) but it is very quiet and keeps perfect time! Highly recommend.

For the price paid, I was expecting a sturdy, well put together clock. I was very wrong. When I received the clock, the hands were broken. They were just hanging from the center stem loose and limp. Given it was not a functional clock, I started the replacement process. The seller reached out and asked if they could send me the instructions on how to open the clock and fix the hands. Weighing the hassle of packing up the broken clock and going through the motions to return it, as well as potentially getting a replacement that was also broken and getting caught in a terrible cycle, I agreed to try and fix the hands. Following the instructions to take apart the housing, the first thing I noticed was the entire clock is made from cheap plastic. Everything is extremely thin, weak, and flimsy. I also noticed the middle insert with the gears was upside down. Thus, after several attempts to get the hands working and aligned, I put the main housing back in place, but then had to take out the screws that hold the middle sections that has the ornamental gears and rotate to the correct position. While I was able to fix the two issues, I don't think I should've had to, and was extremely unsatisfied with the poor quality of materials, especially given the price I paid.

It was a gift for my parents as they totally changed their kitchen around and I wanted to get them a more decorative clock for the new decor. The clock complements it perfectly with its steampunk/elegant design and the face of the clock with its moving gears is just stunning. I was originally thinking that a simpler more classical looking clock would be better, but if you want a clock that has style and substance, this is your clock.

Replaced a similar clock with a click mechanism failure.This well built. In use for two months now with no issues.Looks great.Recommend.
