An interesting snapshot
The set list was good and the playing excellent. My only quibble would be that it sounds as though it has been heavily doctored in the sound department. I have loads of live albums by various artists from around this era and the 'live' sound on this is amazing for that time. Too good perhaps? Some of the applause seems to repeat itself as though added on post prodution.Compare it to something like The Five Bridges Suite by the Nice which was recorded at the same time and you'll see what I mean.

Worth The Wait.
Finally the Royal Albert Hall Concert, CCR at their best. This is a must have for any fan. It's amazing back then bands rarely did more than about 40 minute concerts. I've seen John twice in recent years and the first time he was on stage for 2 hours the second time for about 1 hour 40 minutes, he apologised but due to the Arena's curfew he had to finish. Concerts would have been even more amazing back then if they played for 2 hours. Ironic John was young and in his prime in 1970 for the pretty short concerts and when I saw him first time he was 62 second time about 70 and he bounced around the stage/awesome lead guitar and stunning vocals. He's lost none of his magic.
