This is a great product to reduce glare and add a decorator touch to your can lights. The shades come with 3 white adhesive tabs that attach to the trim of your can light. Each shade has 3 magnets with adjustable positions to attach to the tabs. This makes it easy to attach and remove the shades as needed.I had trouble with some of the tabs coming detached. EZClipse determined the problem was the 100 watt halogen bulbs I was using creating a little more heat than the adhesive tabs can handle. They recommend 75 watt maximum incandescent / halogen or LED bulbs. I believe the tabs will work fine and stay put following that advice -- the adhesive is strong and most of the tabs held tight even with the 100 watt bulbs.Kory at EZClipse answered several emails and was great to work with, so I would not hesitate to buy. In the unlikely event you have any problems, EZClipse has great customer service to help.

The shades look classy, but the sticky part of the magnets wore off and the shade fell. I asked customer service to send more magnets but they told me to just glue it to the light fixture which I can’t do because I live in a rental apartment. Also, they didn’t tell me that these shades aren’t for a beveled light fixture until 3 days after I received my package and had tried to mount the shades. Now I can’t return them. If you get these shades I would suggest using some other form of adhesive with the magnets.

Since my mounted fixture is plastic and curved (not flat), I couldn't use the magnets or the peel strips. So I just unscrewed it a little and put the arms between the fixture and ceiling. I used to get headaches from having just a bare, exposed bulb and this shade has certainly improved that. It's darker than I thought it would be, and since I couldn't use the strips, there's no glow on the top portion. But it hasn't fallen off and it's sturdy, so I'm happy with it.

The actual product is great, however if you do not have a baffle that attracts the magnets, the solution provided is not very useful. After about 2 days the magnetic strips provided started to come loose and one of the products fell to the floor. I've spent hours trying to figure out a solution, it's not so easy. Finally hit me to put the magnetic strips provided between the baffle lip and the ceiling. This may provide a much better solution then the instructions that are provided.

These are pretty great. I bought these to reduce the glare I was getting from the TV. The included adhesive metal plates worked perfectly on my plastic bezelled lights. The bezels are chamfered as most are, but that did not cause any issues (I was initially concerned about this). Just clean the bezel really well with the included alcohol wipes, attach the metal plates applying pressure for 30 seconds and allow 2 hours (I believe) for the adhesive to set before you hang the shade. I've had these things up for nearly 2 months and they're hanging in! Very highly recommended!

The shade was amazingly easy to install, and it looks rather well for where I used it.My only slight complaint, would be that I felt it was a little pricey for what it is .

It could be a great product if they improved the design. The mechanism to hang it to a non metallic trim is not smart design. You have to stick the provided tabs (and they don't come off) in order to hang the shades. Why on earth would I want to put the sticker on my trim if it cannot come off. When I remove the shades, the sticker tabs show and look ugly. I really wish they improve the design for non metal trims.

THis doesn't stay on the ceiling. It has fallen off twice and I just have a bare bulb in my dining room now. Not sure what to do with this.
