We were skeptical at first, but one week after purchase, a potential break in was averted. We installed bar on our back door(quick 5 second install), and in the middle of the night, we heard a loud noise and our alarm system started chirping. Then several loud thumps happened and then you could hear someones footsteps running away. Intruder actually kicked our door so hard so many times, that the dead bolt broke into pieces, but the door remained closed. Im super impressed and already purchased two more, one for front door and another for our slider(we lay the bar in the slider track). Easy to assemble in under 30 seconds out of the box. Solid steel construction, black in color, several different simple length adjustments(takes seconds). There may be a better product on the market, but not for price/effectiveness ratio. 5 stars on a 4 star scale😉.

We purchased one back around 2010 and used it every day. When it finally bit the dust we were glad to be able to get the same great product. It's easy to assemble, easy to adjust to your door handle height, and sturdy enough to do the job.

Very happy with purchase, security bars are solid and weighty, making me feel safe and secure with them in use. Security bars are easy to install, both propped against a front door and in the track of glass slider.

So glad that I got this! I was looking for an item that could be used for both a regular door as well as a sliding door and this was the perfect item! It comes in a 2pack, so it's a great deal for both. The quality of the poles themselves are pretty sturdy and they get the job done. Highly recommend.
