L'Occitane Roses et Reines Beautifying Body Milk, 8.4 Fl Oz

I used this lotion along with the matching shower gel & their Eau de toilet Roses et Reines & went to Starbucks on Monday.There were three people, two ladies & one man in the store.One was about 10 feet away, the next was about two feet away & the other lady was about five feet away.This lady asked me what I was wearing, the other was nearby & started to laugh. I told her "L'occatine, Roses lotion shower gel & the Eau de toilet."I thought maybe it was smelling too much or about to choke someone out so I apologized to everyone.They said "No, it's not too much, it smells really clean & fresh!"I was relieved about that. What surprised me was all I really picked up on was the smell of the coffee in the store, the others smelled the rose L'occatine products.The two ladies recognized the L'occatine name, I just discovered L'occatine line about six months ago & just in the past few weeks discovered the rose part of their products. The guy wanted to find out how to spell it so he could look for it in stores.Of course, one of the places I suggested he look was right here at the 'Zon.The shower gel foams up well, a little goes a long ways on one of those mesh poofies used in the shower & smells wonderful.The lotion is thick & I find it very moisturizing which is great.It seems to dry to where I can get dressed very quickly, as it seems I am one of those people that always is cutting it close to get to my appointments & then dawdle around like I have three days to get some where.As far as getting the product out of the bottles, I have both R.A. & two failed carpal tunnel release surgeries & I have no difficulty whatsoever getting the product out of the containers. I noticed someone mentioned it was hard to get out with arthritis.Maybe her bottle was made of a stronger product than mine are.The EDT rose is also very nice as well.I only have one complaint, which is the price. I noticed it is starting to spike even here at Amazon where I have bought some of my L'occatine products. In less than a month, the lotion has increased another two dollars. Between the 2.5 oz. Eau De Toilet for $50, the 8.4 oz. Shower gel for $22 & now the lotion 8.4 oz at $27 & add the taxes, well now you have spent over $100.As much as I enjoy the product & the moisturizing benefits & wonderful scent.I may have to slow down some with my purchases & save my L'occatine products for a few times a month or special occasions, or find somewhere else to cut corners to keep L'occatine in my bathroom & being able to use it everyday.I really enjoy it & if you are looking for a change this spring, you might consider trying this out. I really enjoy it & recommend it highly.Have a great day all!!!

I have loved pretty much every L'Occitane product I have tried, so I had no hesitation about buying this in full size despite never having tried a sample. And, as I expected, this is another wonderful product.First off, this definitely does have a rose scent. So if you do not like that scent in your body care products, you should avoid this. Because the scent lingers. I use this after a shower at night, just on my legs, and I can still smell a bit of the rose the next morning. (I don't like floral perfumes but I do like floral scents in bath and body products...) I happen to love the scent of this. It's not too strong and it's not cloying, but it's also definitely detectable. It's basically just at the right level for my preference.This is super moisturizing. I would say it was a lotion in terms of consistency. Definitely thinner than, say, a body cream or body butter, and able to be squeezed out of a relatively small opening in the top of the bottle. But thicker than an oil. It is easy to distribute across the surface of the skin and it absorbs pretty quickly and without leaving residue. It has not irritated my skin (and this is something I *do* have to watch for in body products, because a lot of fragranced lotions tend to give me hives or welts -- but this one doesn't after a week of use).You can see the full ingredients list if you zoom in on the image of the back of the container. What I really like is that this has a bunch of actual rose extracts and oils (although it does also contain artificial fragrance and dyes), plus the usual sunflower oil and shea butter and glycerin for moisturizing purposes.In the end, I love how the scent lingers and this has been quite moisturizing (as well as non-irritating), so I'm a fan.

This was the first body lotion by L’Occitane (I have bought their soap bars) that I tried and I do like it a lot! It’s not a thick lotion but it is effective. The small cap lifts up and the lotion comes out easily, especially in the beginning - I found that it almost ‘pours’ out if I’m not careful. I was on a 3 week cruise and had forgotten to bring my lotion with me. This prompted me to go to the shop on the ship to find something to use and that would soothe my sunburned skin. This was very good and it has a pleasant but not strong scent of roses. It does not take a lot of lotion to cover the entire body which justifies the price - a little goes a long way. Since I’ve been home I have ordered this one from Amazon and I still have a little left of their ‘cherry blossom’ body lotion left before I reorder another one. Again this is a body ‘milk’ and the consistency is similar as opposed to some of the other brands of ‘lotions’ - for example the ones by Molton Brown which I was using throughout the winter and is much thicker in texture.

I've bought this alone with the rose shower gel and I absolutely cannot get enough! This scent is light and effective without being over powering. L'Occitane did an amazing job with a scent that has a tendency to smell too old. Roses et Reines has a youthful scent and it carries just enough to let others get a quick smell. Such a great buy. The lotion itself is a bit more runny than I'm used to but its very silky (hence the term Milk instead of lotion I suppose). It is truly a treat to use every day.

ロクシタンのローズの香りが好きな家族(妹)に頼まれ購入しました。しっかりとした薔薇の香りがするフランス製のボディミルクです。べたつく事なく程良いしっとりとした使用感だそうで、乾燥肌でも低刺激なのかお肌に優しいとのことでした。ロクシタン特有の香りが女性受けするのでしょうが、男性でも良い香りでしたので嫌がる人は少ないと思いますね。香水が苦手な方は、香水代わりに使用しても良いのかもしれませんね。

これは、長年愛用してるクリームですから、間違いなく、いいですけど、購入のたびに値段が上がってますね

ほんとうにバラに包まれているような香りが長時間続きアロマ効果もあるのでは。

女子受けのいい匂い。蓋があけにくい。昔の形の方が使いやすかった。

ロクシタン定番の商品です。安く買えて良かったです。値段、商品ともお勧めアイテムです。
