I needed a 36" download for this fan and had questions about the kinds of bulbs required. I received a response from Ranier within 10 minutes of my email. (I found an address in the Q & A associated with the product). The rod had to be specially produced. Not only was it provided at no extra cost, I got it within 2 weeks of my request. I also got a swift response to a follow-up question on exactly what types of bulbs went where so I'd have all on hand when I was ready to hang the unit. When I suggested adding a diagram with that information, the company said they appreciated the idea and sent back an illustration. I'd post it but it was imbedded in an email. The customer service rep said they'd start including that in each package. Just got the fan installed and it is beautiful. A cross between copper and rose gold. Wow does it produce light! Fortunately you can choose just the upper bowl, 2 of the downward lights or all 5 and the upper. The fan is whisper quiet even on high. So far I am very impressed with this manufacturer!

it is a beautiful fan. I purchased it for 289 which is a fair deal. It is unique looking and is very quiet. i love the remote feature. IMO this is perfect for a bedroom or a living room with low ceilings. My upstairs has very high ceilings and this imo would not work simply becuz the room would swallow the fan and would not give off proper circulation. So it is good for 26 foot by 18 feet living room with normal ceiling height air circulation is good but its more ideal for a master bedroom. Again this is my opinion. Easy to assemble and super easy to install. I had it hung in an hour including assembly time.

The quality of this fan is so-so. The top light is made of thin plastic and the shades are made of glass. The bulbs used in the top part at the tiny size (like Christmas lights). It was easy to install, however the pole that comes with it is short. We had to lengthen the wires to make it fit our pole. Looks pretty. The fan has no noise so far.

Looks good, very heavy because the blades are solid metal. Provided the one more pipe to extend the hight but there is no connector or anything so you can't go the the maximum length what they described. Also for remote, special type of battery using so it is hard to find that type of battery to replace.

I love this fan! I spray painted the metal with antique brass spray paint and the fan blades with dark walnut so it would match the decor in my 1900 Victorian, and it’s perfect! I wanted a dimmer so we bought a separate remote kit with a dimmer option from Menards and it’s perfect! It’s super quiet, absolutely no wobble, and really pushes the air around. I have an obsession with antique lighting and hated having to put in a ceiling fan, but this fan is so beautiful that I’m not even bothered by it.

The item is beautiful. However, the fan does not work either with the remote or the pulley's. The lights worked for a short while with the remote, and now do not work either. The pulleys with he lights don't work either. Contacted Amazon, and the seller neither has a telephone # nor an E-mail address, and Amazon itself had no way to contact them. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! You will be sorry if you do so, and out your money.

get a very low wattage bulb for the upper portion. Otherwise the lights will appear to flash as the blades go around.

I bought this fan for my family room. I wanted a nice touch of shine without being glam. This fan is perfect and beautiful, the lights are very bright and can be customized with the remote control so you can choose the adequate level of illumination. The electrician that installed it was asking where can he buy one for himself. Excellent product with an affordable price.
