I'm astonished but it really does work!
Ok, it actually Bl**dy works. I bought a 2003 Lincoln Town car last weekend and because it's so old school it doesn't even have an auxillary jack. I've had experience of FM/Bluetooth re-transmitters and it's not been good. Your signal can all too easily be swamped by another as you move around town. So I thought I'd try something so old school as to be laughable. The cassette deck. I'd try to use one of those old tape adaptors that I used to use in the 90's with my Discman. So I took a risk (woo ten bucks, big risk!) and bought the above Stanley tape adapter. I loaded it into the 16 year old tape deck and attach it to my phone and ran my favorite streaming app Amazon Prime (of course). It initially sounded tinny with no bottom end and then I pressed the Dolby button on the deck and what a revelation. It actually works and is pretty listenable as well. Sure I boosted the bass to max and left the treble at 50% but it actually works much to my amazement. It will do until I replace the head and the speakers with something modern but right now this actually works and for half the price of the Sony unit. How long it lasts I don't know but that's more to do with the tape deck than the Stanley adapter. Remember if it doesn't work for you it's probably your ancient tape deck that's dead not this adapter. This is a bona-fides bargain.

Took me a while to find one of these since ...
Took me a while to find one of these since most of them did not work for Toyota Sienna '07 because the players kept skipping sides on the tape.

Static after one use
This product came on time but that was the only positive thing about it. I can't use it with my cell phone case on. I used it one day and it already has static. It also makes my tape player make noise constantly like its playing the tape. I've never had this issue with any other tape adaptors I've used. I'm very disappointed in this product.

Great!
Bought for my husband who likes to listen to satellite radio in his 2002 Honda CRV. Has been working perfectly for the last few months. No complaints.
